The destinations were fabulous. The ship was nice but the design was not great. Could not access one end of the ship from the other without going through the casino which reeked of cigarette smoke, even when it was not open..

The food as very good, only had one not so good meal at Taste. We enjoyed the specialty restaurants, but the upcharges seem a bit excessive.
We also got the beverage pkg. and was told it included everything except high end liquor, but had to purchase additional water pkg and pay for coffee outside the room.
The canapés included with the anniversary pkg. were warm and not so great.

The shows were terrific. Cirque dreams and Burn the floor were the best. Only disappointment was that we paid for premium seating for the Cirque show and we had a blocked view...not premium. Loved the Beatles show in the cavern club, but they were not there very often...other bands were there, which seems silly, as it IS the Cavern club. Would have liked to see them again...only caught the tail end of one show and they were only there again when we had reservations for other things. Howl at the moon was great as well. Disappointed that the Ice bar had a $25.00 pp cover charge to get in! We did not go and I really wanted to.

I think pre-tipping really hurts the service. It was adequate and friendly, but nothing above and beyond. That also includes spa services where tips are automatically added. No reason for them to work for it.

Ship was clean, but design was terrible... You had to walk through the casino (which reeked of cigarette smoke even when not open) to get anywhere, i.e. , Had to go deck 6 , through casino, to get to escalator down to 5. Places were hard to find because you can't walk from front to back of ship on each deck. Never even saw the Italian restaurant.
Cabin / Stateroom

Beautiful and clean, but bed was very hard and uncomfortable and TOO SHORT. Both of our feet were hanging off the end of the bed. I could not even walk past when hubby was in the bed without him lifting his feet.
Loved the balcony.
We arrived 1-1/2 days early, but our flight was delayed and we did not get to see all we wanted...But will be back. We did not have a tour booked through NCL at this location
As we had been to Rome before, we chose Tarquinia and the Etruscans.. learned a lot about something we never knew about before and had a lovely lunch at farmhouse
St Paul de Vence was a lovely town and enjoyed the tour there, as well as the stop at the perfume factory in Grasse. Upon return, we explored Cannes on our own and it also was lovely.
This was probably the least favorite as we spent too much time on the bus in traffic heading to Valdemossa. We had no time to explore Palma...15 minutes to look at the cathedral from across the street. If we wanted to stay on our own the additional hour before boarding, the shuttle would have been $25.00pp. Seeing as we were not close enough to view anything much, we opted to return to ship with the tour. That hour should have been included for some local sightseeing and a return on the bus
