Do it! Personally, I don’t think the specialty restaurants are worth the price since the food is so good in the dining rooms. However, if you want to dine in the specialty restaurants, reserve either before the cruise or the first day of the cruise. Same thing with the shows, reserve ASAP
Be aware if you are going to warm climate and like to sit by pool..seating is very limited when ship is full. Lots of people leave towels on chairs for hours and never return. Signs say they will be removed after 15 minutes but this definitely did not happen. Waterfront us beautiful area and so is observation deck
There is a bunch of upcharges. Other cruise lines have photographer's taking pictures constantly not so on this one and they really took no good pics of us. Also, they were crazy expensive. The open bar is only up to $15 anything other you will get charged.
The Observation Lounge is a great place on the ship to relax and hang out. There is a bar, some really comfortable lounging chairs, couches and chairs. Each day from 3 -5 they have tea time, where they put out light snacks, desserts, fruit and bread and cheese.
It is not very well organized and you get a lot of information but often key pieces of information are not given. Don't accept the app or the kiosks word for availability of services. Go stand in the long lines and speak to a customer service person to find out details. Shore excursions are not well vetted and too expensive. You are better off booking tour online with other companies.
Enjoy all the buffet food, Speciality Dining and shows. Excellent in every way. And if you are adventurous, try the Speedway Track. Exhilarating and it made me feel so much younger! I enjoyed it three times!
