The ports are overall disappointing and the service overall is just not as good as I expected. Will go back to using Carnival or Celebrity in the future.

Getting to the port was a nightmare - accident in the tunnel made us 1 hour late. But staff at the port were great at getting us onboard quickly.

The speedway was OK but not really very fast and the timing was definitely inaccurate - it didn't even count one of my laps. The slide that went out over the ocean wasn't open very often and they didn't tell you in any of the paperwork how specific the type of swimwear you have to have (no metal, no strings, no grommets or aglets, and no jewelry on, not even stud earrings. They don't even sell any appropriate swimsuits in the gift shops.

The show Choir of Man was great. We kept trying to book it on the kiosk and it said "sold out" for every performance. I decided to go to the ticket window to see if we could get on a standby list and we were told there were plenty of seats available??? When we went to the show there were a ton of open seats! I wonder how many people assumed the kiosk was correct and missed seeing a great show because of that.

The waiters were good. One in particular, Alvin Malit, in The Manhattan Room was exceptional! He made our meals there a wonderful experience. We went back and requested his service area even though we had to wait for a table!

The cabin was larger than I expected and had a large bathroom and good size balcony.
Ship tip
It is not very well organized and you get a lot of information but often key pieces of information are not given. Don't accept the app or the kiosks word for availability of services. Go stand in the long lines and speak to a customer service person to find out details. Shore excursions are not well vetted and too expensive. You are better off booking tour online with other companies.
I’m kind of perplexed with your comment on food. Celebrity has pizza, burgers and hot dogs as your late afternoon options and late night you can just get pizza. The pubs on NCL have a much larger menu and is open 24 hours. Can’t compare Carnival as I’ve never sailed with them, but this is one area I think NCL definitely has better options.
