A great cruise on a beautiful ship. Every staff member I encountered was very nice. Everything was clean, the food was amazing, the room was the nicest I have been in. The private island was very fun. Good food there as well, and again, the staff was amazing. This was my first Norwegian cruise but I don't think it will be my last.

Beautiful ship with plenty to do for everyone. Between laser tag, go carts, the VR arcade, musical shows, comedy, and dancing, I didn't have a moment where I was bored. Actually may need a vacation from my vacation! Wish there were more hot tubs!

Norwegian Encore is a beautiful ship with lots of good food and activities. Keep in mind that many of the dining venues and activities do cost extra, so budget for that when planning a cruise on this ship. Also remember to make reservations for specialty restaurants you want and activities that allow reservations ahead of time if possible.

This is my third time sailing with NCL. I've only ever sailed on these larger ships and love all the activities that keep you entertained for the entire cruise. Since it's a new ship some of the staff were still learning their roles. In the recreation area it seems like an employee would only work a position for 30 minutes or less before being rotated somewhere else, so in some cases the customers had to wait for this to complete. It was most noticeable on the slide where this happen twice. The food in the main dining restaurants was good and the staff were attentive. I'd certainly take another NCL cruise.

This was an inaugural sailing, so we werent able to eat at most restaurants we wanted to, but that was the only bad part. Otherwise, our food was great, all our cocktails were good, we enjoyed going dancing and going to the shows, and the island stop was a perfect beach day. Would definitely go on this ship again.

Loved, loved,loved the ship and overall experience! The variety of venues, dining and things to do truly had something for everyone. The ship is beautifully appointed and easy to get around. We loved it so much that we are booking another cruise on the ship!!

We hope to work with Norwegian to remedy the challenges we had on this cruise. I have always loved them and have been on 4 other cruises with them in the past and have another one scheduled for February. It would be a shame to waste our cruise Next credits due to the poor service on this one sailing, but we need to be assured Norwegian's greed isn't ruining the experience on the ship for us before we stress through another vacation. Cruises are typically the most relaxing vacations we have taken. This one was one of the most stressful :(

Originally ship was to sail from Southampton to Miami but NCL went to NYC for the publicity. Inaugural cruise was a great experience but traveling across the North Atlantic in November was not ideal. First two days were rough - 45 foot waves and 60+ mph winds. Out of 9 days only had about 1 1/2 days we were allowed on outer decks. Ship was only about 42% capacity which allowed empty hallways and elevators. Meeting NCL Escape in front of Lady Liberty was a once in a lifetime experience. Great ship bad route.

Great experience doing an extended transatlantic cruise.

Winter weather was challenging. But the cruise was perfect.

It was fun being the first ones on a new ship. I am sure the outdoor activities will be very popular, just not on a transatlantic cruise in November.

We went with a big party of friends, so always someone to run into and hang out with. Would consider another NCL cruise if the price was right. Had a great time, it was a cruise after all.

This ship had a LOT of people on board and the cruise line did a great job at every port of call getting everyone on and off the ship. Our dining was gray also we never waited for a table even with no reservations. There were too many people for the size of the pool area. Most of the time at sea you could not find a chair to sit. Norwegian scheduled our flights and the trip home was a total disappointment. Our flight was scheduled with United Air and they transferred us to Silver Airway who has a reputation for delayed and canceled flights. They did not disappoint our flight was scheduled for 5:40 pm we boarded the plane at midnight so we sat in the air port from 11 am till 12 am not a good way to end the trip

Amazing cruise, very clean and plenty to do!

All in all, I had a fantastic experience on the NCL Encore. It was my first time on the ship and I loved it. There are so many amenities and things to do. If you are bored on a cruise, there is something wrong. From many game shows (The Not-So Newlywed Game, Deal or No Deal, etc.), to shows (Choir of Man, comedy [all guests and 18+], magician, Beatles tribute), to lot of events and parties (sail away party, 80's party, 90's party, silent disco, glow party, farewell party, Paint 'n Sip type event, contests), casino if you like to partake, or just hanging around the ship at the Waterfront or Observation Lounge. There is even a library where you can borrow a book or play a board game with friends. There was a Starbucks on board where you can use the app to pay (load up your Starbucks card or get some gift cards to pay). Thank you for another amazing vacation. I'm ready for Dec. 2023 ... if not before.

Very good cruise but there could be some minor improvements to make it great.

NCL Encore is a fantastic ship and a must do for all

My absolute favorite thing was the Vibe Beach Club and the great bartenders Roger, Danny, and team. It was not packed like the pool deck on 14 and the mass of humanity. Next was the quiet Floor 15 Observation Deck in the morning with coffee with no one around.
