Review summary

Katie, with Dream Vacations, helped us plan an amazing cruise to Alaska in the timeframe we needed, with the exact itinerary we requested, and within our budget. Our trip was hassle free from start to finish and we felt confident that we were in great hands if we ran into any issues. Our family expected this to be a once in a lifetime trip, but now we can't wait to go back!

Juneau, Alaska

Juneau was beautiful! The weather was perfect and we were all able to take helicopters to Mendenhall Glacier. Half of us enjoyed dogsledding while the other half enjoyed a walkabout. Absolutely incredible experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the town as well.

Skagway, Alaska

This was our favorite town! We had so much fun exploring the shops and open spaces. The White Pass Railway was so much fun, but even better was riding bikes 15 miles back down to town. Highly recommend!

Cruise Glacier Bay

We enjoyed the wildlife we were able to see and the impressive glacier. We did wish that the rangers that were narrating through the PA system had shared which side of the ship to go to in order to see different wildlife as we missed out on whales and seals that other passengers were seeing.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

3 out of 5
We weren't in port long enough to be able to enjoy Ketchikan and go on an excursion, which was disappointing. Since the new dock is so far from town there isn't time to do both. Many passengers felt it would've been better to stay in Ketchikan longer and skipped Victoria. Half of our family who was not doing a lengthy excursion was able to make a quick trip into town, but most stores or "attractions" weren't even open yet.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

We had heard that Victoria is a beautiful place to visit. Our ship was only there from 8 PM to 12 AM and the shuttle was $13/person. We decided it wasn't worth the cost for so little time.
