Review summary

All in all, I had fun. It was a great experience. A beautiful, clean, modern ship. I must thank the amazing staff for their wonderful attitude and professionalism. I wish more businesses had staff as wonderful as this.

Embarkation

Very confusing and not easily accessible for someone with a handicap. The staff kept pointing me in the wrong direction and I have difficulty walking. I waited for a very long time for a wheelchair even though I had reserved one online previously.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was good and the specialty restaurants like Cagney's, Los Lobos, and LeBistro had excellent food and superb service.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I'm elderly so the musical entertainment, the casino, the bingo games, slot tournament was fun and entertaining. Maybe more activities for the elderly and handicapped.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The musical shows were very entertaining and very well done. High quality performers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was immensely helpful and very nice. Even when I was becoming an annoyance, they were all very kind, helpful, polite, and professional. They are a very well trained staff they should all be well compensated and rewarded.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was top notch. Very clean, well maintained, easy access. All in all, it was wonderful in decor and design.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
A bit of a tight squeeze for an elderly person but it was fine. The toilet-water closet was very small and difficult to move around in. Over-all it was clean, modern and nicely laid-out.

Ship tip

Get a clear understanding of the embarkation requirements BEFORE you arrive at the pier.

Juneau, Alaska

Juneau was fun with easy access to everything.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

Beautiful breathtaking views. This was an alternate stop to replace Skagway. It was fun and interesting, but a very small venue.

Cruise Glacier Bay

Breathtaking and stunning. The narration during the sailing was great.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Lay-over was too short. Didn't have time for much.

Victoria, British Columbia

I feel this stop was pointless as we arrived late...around 7:30 p.m. or so. And our embarkation was around 11:30 p.m. or so. This leaves not time to explore and barely enough time to go dinning in town.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
I was under the impression that we were to disembark in Seattle by sometime around 12:00 noon. However, I was told that morning that I had to disembark by 9:00 a.m. I felt rushed and disembarkation seemed like a cattle call.
