The cruise was great and had an excellent time. It’s a great easy way to see Alaska. Just be wary about port times since some you are not in it for long. As well as the lack of entertainment offered on a ship that needs things to do in the evening besides the casino.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Getting to the ship was very easy from downtown Seattle. Very simple process which got us on board quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The restaurants that were included were fine. Nothing that stood out besides the great servers. The food always tasted bland and simple nothing ever popped with flavor.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Loved the go karts and laser tag which added something different to a ship at sea.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Besides the up charge activities such as go karts and laser tags there was barely any entertainment on an Alaska cruise where people needed to be entertained. A few random trivia’s here and there and two main shows which one of them got cancelled the only night it performed. Be prepared to be bored at night unless you want to watch a cover band of the Beatles 5 days in a row.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The staff was always helpful and extremely on point with everything they did.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Enough bars to keep entertained but was missing a main area to host events. Most stuff was help in the atrium which could barely fit everyone to the point they had to start putting folding chairs out.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Bed was so comfortable and great size for the bathroom. Loved having a balcony room in Alaska.
Ship tip
Bring games with you to be entertained and expect to pay up charges for activities that you want to do.
Amazing day seeing the Glacier and they even had the national perk service come on board to talk about what you saw as well as merchandise. A nice touch.
Norwegian more ports sWard Cove which is a 25 min shuttle to town. And you have such a short time there. Don’t expect to do much which is a shame because the town is beautiful.
