This is my second time cruising with NCL the first time was in a small ship I had an interior cabin I was miserable there wasn’t anything to do this time I was on a big ship with a balcony and I loved it I did get sick with about three days left so I was grateful that I had a view. It was plenty of entertainment that you didn’t have to pay extra for I loved the observation deck great views it was an expensive trip but if I had the money I would do it again

I love the layout of the room I was on the ninth floor and sometimes you would hear the shows and they were on the seventh floor
I did an excursion on the last day that took you to the airport that was for the space needle and took you to Pike Place for a while that was great of course my favorite thing was not part of an excursion it was called wings over Washington it was great fun
I did well watching in the Mendenhall glacier but we didn’t have much time in the port so I didn’t get to hang around town or anything or go to the red dog saloon I wish I had more time
Had plenty of time in this port I did the white pass railroad and a scenic bus ride scenic bus ride was not worth it but the white trail pass was great and I got to walk around town and do some shopping
If you’re only going to last once I would recommend going to see the three glaciers like leisure bay I was surprised because I thought that only princess had park rangers come in but they had five Park Rangers come in for the day and give lectures and answer questions and sell some items to benefit glacier Bay
I was not happy at all with NCL about this port we got there after seven in the morning I did one excursion and then I didn’t have time to really go around town and look at things I wanted to because they have their own dock called wards Cove where they park their ship which is 7 miles out of town They give you a free shuttle from wards Cove but you had to be on the last shuttle by 11 o’clock so there was no time to really go around Ketchikan and see what you want more time is needed in Ketchikan and less in Canada..Seems you have to choose to either look around town or doing excursion but no time for both
If they could only do away with having to go to Canada at all and just give us more time at the other ports in Alaska that would be great I did an excursion to butchart gardens it was cold it looked pretty but you could see of it because it was so dimly lit but the gift shop was Closed and the coffee shop was closed so you couldn’t get anything to drink by the time we got back it was almost midnight and there was a little shop that you could visit before you got back on board ship but I walked in there and they said if you wanna buy something you need to buy now we’re closing they’re just not hospitable and even when we got there it was more than 30 minutes before they even let us off of the ship
I did an excursion I had to be there at 8 o’clock to meet with everyone to walk off the boat together it still took a long time though I had to wait a long time to disembark the ship
