This was my first cruise and my partner's 3rd. We were VERY disappointed that there was not any bar or area designated for 21 and up. The nightly lounge/club was filled with small children and later drunk 18 yr olds since they were allowed to drink beer and wine. We thought the staff should have been more vigilant of rule breakers (unsupervised children and underage drinking). Shore excursions through the ship were exorbitantly priced and not that great. You're better off booking different ones on your own.

ship was fine but constant push to spend mnore $ on speciality restaraunts because seating was not sufficient in main dining rooms so there were long waits to get a table. No reservations in main dining rooms.

We recenlty sail on the Norwegian Dawn 6 month ago and all i could say is everything was perfect. We had a great time on the ship and to Bermuda.

The ship was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were very hard and need a form covering. The dining room 'Ventian'seems to cater to some folks in regards to seating and they were allowed to sit in the same area all the time mostly near the windows. The spinaker room needs to cater to all ages not just the young people. There needs to be good mix of all kinds of music and not the same beat all the time. As I mentioned above, the music should be a good mix before 11 pm and then cater to the young folk. If I find a ship that does this I will be sailing on it often. There was a lot of older folk on this ship and we don't need to be sitting around and listening to good music and not have a place to dance.

A relaxing vacation shouldn't involve getting up by 7 AM, then racing to save a lounge seat for the day. Most families had mom, dad or grandpa using towels to reserve seats for kids, spouses, backpacks, water bottles and anything or anyone else they could think of. The signs say no seats can be reserved more than 30 minutes but we never saw the staff doing anything about it. A quick look at the area around the pool saw maybe 30 or 40 % of the seats were being used at all, the rest were being hoarded by rude passengers. We also didn't expect the main restaurant to resemble a high school cafeteria. Lesson learned, next time we'll try to find a slightly "classier" ship.

I recommend this cruise with a little apprehension. It is really for families with children with ages of infant to late teens.

Everything was very clean, the staff was always great. The food was good and the shows in the evening where top notch. We went to celebrate my in-;aws anniversary and did have a nice trip but not being drinkers or gamblers and with only one teenage child our activities where limited. But I guess we are not the kind of people they are going to make money on.

The gym was pretty good. The shows and crew were entertaining.

Beautiful ship, fabulous crew, great entertainment -- lots of fun.

Comparing to both Princess and Royal Caribbean the overall service, activities and dining were not at the same standards.

We just got back from this cruise on 6/22/12. The weather was beautiful, only one day of rain! Overall, it was a nice cruise, very casual and laid-back. We were very disappointed with the pool area and that so many kids were allowed in the hot tub despite the signs that say "no children under age 18" The staff should really try to keep any eye out for these issues. At one point the kids were playing with medical gloves and left them all over the pool and hot tubs, disgusting! I had to ask one of the staff members to intervene so an older couple could go in to the tub and relax. There were not enough chairs around the pool area, and if you did not get up by 7 am and save a chair then you were not going to get one1

This was my first cruise, so I really have nothing to compare it to. I thought NCL did an excellent job of handling so many people. The staff were so accommodating and pleasant at all times. The food was excellent and the entertainment was consistently good, with several venues to choose from. It was difficult to find a quiet spot on the ship, or to find chairs for all 4 of us by the pool, but we managed.

I thought the ship offered a lot of activites for all ages. I loved playing deal or no deal and my older kids loved going to the night club. There is always something to do.

I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and I felt very welcomed in the ship. There was plenty of actvities to enjoy and I was never bored. I wish that some of the activities did not require an extra fee, however. I was not impressed with the food quality. I suffered from intestinal issues throughout the trip and felt sick from the food. I did not attend a specialty restaurant so those places may have had better quality. I also liked how the cruise departed from Boston because it was not difficult to get to/get on the ship.

we had trouble withe toilet and shower. No water. The cabin was clean but a little small than the other ships we sailed on. The services from the ship's were great in every aspect.

Overall a good trip. The constant nagging to buy buy buy and too many offerings for extra money that I thought should have been part of the cruise price. Some of the entertainment was pretty cheesy but some was excellent. The cruise director comes across as insincere and lame.
