It was a wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: June 22, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was very clean and well taken care of. The beds were very hard and need a form covering. The dining room 'Ventian'seems to cater to some folks in regards to seating and they were allowed to sit in the same area all the time mostly near the windows. The spinaker room needs to cater to all ages not just the young people. There needs to be good mix of all kinds of music and not the same beat all the time. As I mentioned above, the music should be a good mix before 11 pm and then cater to the young folk. If I find a ship that does this I will be sailing on it often.
There was a lot of older folk on this ship and we don't need to be sitting around and listening to good music and not have a place to dance.

Pros: The staff were very helpful- food was very good- The shows were great

Cons: Should have a mix of music for dancing from 8pm on and save the heavy rock for after 11pm We older folk love to dance too. The beds were vrey hard

Recommends Norwegian Dawn? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Beds are way too hard and covers are very heavy. we have been on 14 cruises and never had a bed so hard
Ship Quality
The dawn is a lovely ship and layout is good. Loved the decor in the Venitian dining room. Didn't need some of the jazzy music while we are eating. Should be nice easy listening music.
Food and Dining
Enjoyed the food could have been more plain food and not so much spicy.
Should have an option of what kind of potatoes etc.
Service and Staff
99% of the staff wer very friendly there was one cabin staff member that was surly but near the front front of the ship. He must have been having a bad day. I like to wish them all a good day when I'm passing and all respond well.
