The food, room services, activities were great. The whole family had a great time during the vacation. One comment regarding the food is to reduce the amount of salt in the Asian dishes and soup. Also sometimes, it is hard to find a table for a family in the cafeteria.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise to Bermuda.  Loved the location of our room...enjoyed the balcony very much. Food was great especially at Cagney's, one of the best meals on the ship! The show was fabulous. The only downside for us was the smoking on the ship. There was a designated side for smokers outside and that was fine, but the smoke in the casino traveled into another area of the ship (Gatsby's) and it smelled awful. Otherwise the experience was great. A big suggestion might be to have an extra day actually in Bermuda and arrive home a day later. The cruise was nice but it seemed a bit rushed to have a day and a half to see different areas. (2nd day we had to get back to the ship by 4 which seemed rushed).  Also, the elevators were super slow. I was lucky/healthy enough to be able to use the stairs (great exercise!!) A most wonderful experience!! 

This was a first cruise experience for our family of four: myself, husband, 6year old son and 8 year old daughter. We could not have been more pleased.

Checking in and boarding was effortless. Our room was ready right away. It was spacious and clean. We dined mostly in the Garden Café and were blown away by the choices, always something for everyone. We also tried Aqua, Venetian, and Bamboo. Never had a reservation and never waited for a table. O'Sheehans Bar was always there when we needed a drink or a snack.

Our kids LOVED the Splash Academy. Our kids went every day and were never bored. They even learned tricks and put on a circus show at the end of the cruise.

The kids pool area was great....for kids. No where for adults to sit. That was kind of a bummer.

We had rough seas on the way to Bermuda but the ship handled it very well.

Docking in Bermuda for 3 consecutive days was a plus. Easy to come and go. No problem finding transportation to wherever you wanted to go. The crowds were minimal in October. The weather was amazing, 75 degrees and warm ocean water.

Prices in Bermuda were $$$$ so we dined back on the ship.

A few tips: bring a wristwatch or clock....iphones got confused between Eastern time and Bermuda time so we didn't know what time it was sometimes!

Bring an extension cord and power strip: only one outlet in the room and it was far from the bed. Hubby has CPAP and there was no way it would have reached the bed without an extension. Front desk had limited supply.

Truly loved our first cruise experience. We would do this exact cruise again and any other when time (and money) permit!

This cruise did not start well. I thought there would be a no hassle factor because it was from Boston and the parking and terminal were in close proximity to one another. There was a two hour wait in a long line just to get in the terminal and we arrived at 1 pm. We are platinum but I did not benefit from that tier at all. One security guard checked passports for over 2500 people and not all the security checkpoints were working only two. 

The Elements show was excellent, but the casino was disappointing. My stateroom was a balcony, however the sheets were not changed and I had no ice for the entire time. The beds were not made until after 4 pm each day and not turned down the last night. I asked for a pitcher of water to drink and make coffee and tea from my steward with no reply until the 4th day and told I would 

have to call room service. He gave me a bottle of water and said he would have to charge for it. ( I had the beverage package and again platinum.) 

This was not one of my better cruises with Norwegian.

well, it didn't start off good at all-had no wheelchairs, which I needed one for Pam. They said she should have brought her own. When wanted one from room or whever we were on ship had to wait 1/2 hr not good. We had a room that was so far away from the elevator, by the time we got there wanted to go back to room. Now keep in mind no wheelchair. After 2 days Pam called to get different room right next to elevator which was great and bigger. Still, had to pack everything up to go to new room, it was a nightmare. These peopleor should I say some of them need to listen to passengers, they don,t. Hear what they want too. I fell on board waves were like14 feet going there. I slammed into the wall and fell. My arm looks like a huge tatoo how embarrasing in Bermuda with bathing suit on, and a huge tatoo which I would never get. I was so upset about this they didn't care. I needed a Drs. note to get $100 back for Pam, she booked an excursion and I couldn't go, wasn't feeling well. Needless went to Drs. saw nurse she couldn't give me a note to get money back, she saw my arm and couldn't believe it. Said I would have to fill out complaint, to some tests and check blood for alcohol. Please, I'm on a cruise, duh. So upset left office, needles to say Pam didn't get her $100 back. They were ********** about it, even spoke with supervisor, no can do without Drs. note, unbelievable. I gave Pam back her money, I felt soooo bad for her. They didn't care. Other than rudeness, the ship was absolutely beautiful, so was Bermuda. You had so much food which was great and entertanment was great, loved it.  Getting off was a nightmare too. Oh well. it's not your fault, I'm not blaming Vac Outlet at all, they need to listen to people. I don't usually bitch about things, that's not me, i'm a happy person. Well I have to say my true colors came out, so mad. I learned alot from the cruise, you can't always be nice to people, just a waste of time, doesn't pay that's for sure and I am agood person and basically I got screwed, royally. Trip woke me up, guess that's a good thing, lol.I know you won't want to use this review, but had to get this off my c

chest. Ya know I would go again, this was my 1st cruise, next time I'll know better. Have a good day. Michele 

Oh, by the way they wouldn't let me take their survey I wasn;t truthful with them I guess, I don't lie. I respect people the way I want to be respected. I could go on, but won't ruin your day, lol okay? 

This was our second time cruising on the Dawn.  This cruise blew our first one out of the water!   The cruise director Richard and assistant cruise director Dan were absolutely amazing! They were so funny and there was always something to do.  I went with my fiance and 5 other friends and we were completely satisfied and happy we went with the Dawn again!  We will definitely be cruising with NCL again!

My favorite part of the cruise is seeing the new update, and relaxing. staff wonderful as always. Food was good. Ready to jump on the next cruise!!!! Yes i would recommend had wonderful trip.  P.S.  The internet stinks!!!!!!! Also suggestion on the air quality in the Casino, need something to remove alot of the smoke for it traveled hallway before even entering the casino.

Nice to see some familiar faces, always nice to see crew members from past years. Nice cruise for people who have not cruised, cruised to Bermuda, 20's & 30's & 40's passengers. We were spoiled for many years with a smaller ship that docked in St. Georges. Change is not always good. Larger ships, more people = lines and waiting. Dining in specialty restaurants offers great food, but can't indulge every night it's just too much.

The same usual excellent service. No complaints. Entertainment was great. Two meals at LeBistro excellent. My bad choice of staterooms 5th deck forward. I chose the any window room selection. The entire ship was refurbished (4 weeks drydock instead of two) Excellent shape of the ship with redone venues. I'll be ging again

This was our second year in a row taking this cruise and it was just as enjoyable as our first trip. What made our cruise experience on the Dawn so great is the staff. We look forward to cruising again next year. 

I was married on the Norwegian Dawn on 10/14 out of Boston Ma. My experience was amazing. I was treated well and service was exceptional. In addition our trip to Bermuda was safe and very enjoyable. I had 13 additional guests sailing and we each has an amazing time and will travel Norwegian again.

Excellent vacation for the price,  I would do it again, only bad thing was the smoking, the food and beverages were excellent.  The service from the staff was outstanding, the nightly entertainment was great. Loved it

The Shows and activities were awesome !!!!!!! The Crew Was The Best ,We Enjoyed Them So Much :)  And House Keeping Was Great ,Rooms were always clean!!!!! It was mt Birthday and they made me feel very special !!!!!!!! One thing that could be improved is the food selection on the buffet and sometime the dinner selection , but what i did have was very good !!!!!!

This was our 17th cruise. The first and last on Norwegian. It was by far the most money we've ever paid for a room. Not worth it.

The entertainment, especially The Second City crew, was excellent. Loved the production shows as well. The food was good, especially in the specialty restaurants. The general dinning and buffet was ok as well. And Bermuda was a fine island to visit. Having said that, this is THE WORST nickel and dime cruise line on the planet. All they seemed to care about was charging you extra for something. 6.59 for a bottle of water. 20.00 for a double whisky, 18.00 for a mixed drink. Even the drink package didn't save you. If the drink was over 15.00, you had to pay the difference. Their prices were so goofy on the excursions that we did our own thing, a real first for us. In the casino, they paid only 6-5 on a black jack instead of the normal 3 to 2. They took huge chunks, like 10 percent, from each Hold Em pot. They charge a service fee for everything. I even heard, and read, that it was a real hassle to cancel you tips if you were unhappy with the service. The new CEO opted to call it a service fee instead of a tip. We had ours prepaid and didn't have to deal with it, but people who had bad experiences with service were seething when it came to adjusting their tips. There was only one way to eat after closing hours and that was at a bar called O'Sheehans. The service was so slow there that we almost missed a show. Never mind a mandatory charge for room service. Good God, you'd think this place had money problems. We love cruising, but  will never go back to Norwegian. ALl of those extra charges may have cost me a couple hundred, but it cost them thousands in future cruises. Not my favorite, obviously.

It is a very nice ship especially with the upgrade .  The crew was always cleaning.  The crew was very friendly and welcoming.  My cabin steward was great a hard worker ...George...   The food was good in buffet...Specialty dining was really good..I never went to the dinning room except for breakfast one time..Entertainment was very good..Casino was pretty but not rewarding for me...(LOL)...Embarkment was good and Disembarkation was so easy...Overall I was very happy with my week on the beautiful Dawn....

We picked this cruise for a few reasons.  It was close to home. We wanted to see blue waters, pink sand and go to Bermuda .The ship wasn't overwhelming with to many people because this was our romantic alone vacation for my husband and I.  We'll it was perfect.  Our room, food,staff, activities our time in Bermuda.  We loved it.

The island(first time) was beautiful. The beaches were as I expected. I have been to the Caribbean and Aruba,St Lucia,Hawaii.  All so beautiful. I would have liked less time on the sea-more time on the island.

The food(at specialty restaurants) special. I loved being waited on. Venetian-top shelf also. Added fees in dining rooms-did not like that/or members of our party. Buffet was NOT for me.

The service/stewards very accommodating.

*Drink package-I HAD to pay for bottled water???

Overall-very enjoyable trip.

my wife and I had fun. how ever the kids where running around with no supervision. no room for adults in pools or Jacuzzis. went last year same time lot less kids.

The renovations were well needed and greatly improved the ship. The service was great as usual, all waitstaff do a great job. The casino continues to let you win the first few Days, but takes it all back at the end !!!   LOL Specialty restaurants were awesome, while the free food is bland as expected. We are already booked for NOVEMBER 3, 2017, Can't wait. 

Favorite: Everything was good was good except:

Things to improve: Pool and hot tub area had many unsupervised children. They took over the hot tubs, and were rowdy. Disembarkation was like cattle going to slaughter. For elderly it was difficult and wasn't clear that we could do it in an easier way without my son advocating.

Other comment: I wish we could take a smaller ship to St. George like we used to do on the Majesty. I would recommend this cruise.
