The ship is going to get a 100 million dollar refurbishment. It will become an adult only after the dry dock some time in 2020. To my horror there was no Latin band on board. They had plenty of musical entertainment which had very, very good attendance throughout the cruise, terrible dance classes by staff, but good line dancing classes taught by Jodie the C.D. Jodie was great but the C.D. staff was inexperienced, the Production shows were packed, I only attended a few. All and all the cruise was ok for me but the lack of a Latin band was a tough pill to swallow.

Main dinning was good, the food was tasty and warm when served and the service was excellent. The buffet food was good for the most part but hit or miss on temperature of some of the food offered.

The Pool is way to small, hundreds of chairs with towels and no one in them and there was no way these people were all in the pool and hot tubs. Fitness center was good.

Cruise Director Jodie was great although the same could not be said for her staff, they all seem to just wing it and very inexperienced. Some of the game shows need to be updated.

The wait staff is friendly and very hard working. I didn't meet any that didn't have smile. The Officers are not as friendly as on the Escape.

The ship was always clean. There was always members of the cleaning team on the move checking restroom and other areas. That is a BIG plus for me.

The cabin was good enough in size and the steward did a decent job at keeping us happy with the service.
Ship tip
There was no Latin band on this cruise, I could not believe it, on an NCL ship no Latin Band!
3 hour van tour with nothing to see but trees and shore line with nice beaches. Do yourself a favor and just go to the beach, you be happier that being struck in a van 2 to 3 hours of boring road.
Very nice beaches to visit, we went to Beautiful empty Rodney beach while everyone else got suckered in over rated Pigeon Beach. Even the entertainment crew went to Rodney beach.
Where did you hear that dawn is becoming adult only? I have seen rumors that it is getting a drydock at the end of the year but nothing about adult only
Why would they add the kids section at the rear of the ship in last dry dock just to take it out on this one and make adults only ? An adults only ship in the NCL line. Never heard of that !?!?!? You sure ?
