Review summary

Share pictures? Nobody ever came around taking pictures. You were never on the dock when we got off at the different ports. Really different. Not what we've experienced in the past with carnival.

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Dining rooms were awful. Don't get how you thing the 'go any time you want' is better then assigned times. Wait in line forever to get your name on the list...wait forever to get called...and then wait to have anybody wait on you! We'd go to dinner in the dining room at 530...was never out in time to go to a show. Only ate in the dining rooms a couple times. Was not impressed w the food. The buffet is where we ate majority of our meals.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment was very good!

Children's Programs

Didn't bring kids

Service and Staff

Waiters acted like it was their first time waiting on people. Served us water never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We had to ask. Room steward was just ok...why didn't they ever do the towel animals? It's the little things! Other personnel was very nice.

Ship Quality

You never knew if the toilets were going to flush.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was ok. Would of never been able to use the restroom in our cabin last year. Had a broken knee cap...was in a leg brace...couldnt bend my knee. Ship needs updated.

Worse port! Dirty..people would not leave us alone. Guess you had to go away from where we got off to see anything other then that.

Thanks for the review

Just tell your room steward you want towel animals and they will do for you. As far as one of the comments on St Lucia. Try Joe Knows if tour port time allows. Had a great time and price for what you gat is top notch. Have a blast!

I'm sorry you were disappointed. This wasn't our experience on Dawn last year. Yes they did quit the towel animals and I'll admit it was a bummer but I got over it. Our cruise was at capacity during spring break and we never waited more than 10 minutes for dinner. The staff was great but yes, service is a little slow for dinner. I loved that the photographer wasn't hounding us. We have never once bought a photo. We always decline to have them taken.

Thanks for your review, I’ve been to St Lucia twice and was always one of my favorite ports never had a problem. Going back next March.

Hope the next one will be better. We rather take our own pictures. Have a couple framed and on the wall. Much cheaper and means more to us.

Why didn’t you just stay home and hire a clown to make you balloon animals? And I’d be thrilled to not have that cheesy photographer hounding ya. Grow up buddy

I dont think Norwegian does towel animals.

No one taking pictures? That would be a huge plus for us, so we will consider NCL now.

Towel animals, really. I was so happy that the environment was thought about. Not my selfishness

Interesting how people view things. Personally I felt it was a positive on NCL that photographers weren't shoving a camera in my face every meal. Also that the waiters weren't pushing drinks -and taking time playing bartenders instead of waiting tables. I do agree that Anytime Dining is less personable and slow if you don't plan ahead. You have to make all your dining reservations before the cruise. Especially if you are trying to make a show.
