PS strongly suggest going forward Norwegian Not Providing Public space (Pool Area Nightly ) to any one single group . This made the two week experience very uncomfortable .

The specialty restaurants lived up to the past favorable experiences .Waiters were attentive and provided a pleasant dining experience when asked not to rush food from kitchen . Two wine stewards were pleasant and recalled what beverages we favored when dining at the specialty dinning . That was a nice touch knowing then number of guests they service each night .
Onboard Activities

we purchased a spa pass for the entire trip . I must say the spa on the Dawn is Sub Par in the current layout . Having past spa experience on board other ships that were pleasant i would not recommend the spa package on the Dawn until it is configured to accommodate the number of daily passes sold . Hearing 60 passes were sold and having very limited lounge chairs (11) in believe is shorting the customer . Also lacking a thermal pool stretched the idea that the dawn has a qualified sap experience . Way to much gender only areas took away from the couples experience . When the GM was approached with feedback he replied that the Dawn was a old /small ship and it should not be compared to newer /larger ship spa's .my takeaway is Then the Dawn should not have a option for a spa pass and allow all guests to use the space as a in door pool and hot tub .

The ships band leader and sacks player showed a passion for her team and music during all performances .Brian at the piano also reached his audience extremely well each night . I suggest booking her and or Brian at the wine bar as they both offered contagious in-gagging experiences . PS the wine bar could be best utilized when live music is in the background .

All good restaurants experiences except for the food court ( limited food selection daily )with selections catered to the 200 plus senior culture diets group that made a poor experience as they did not respect anyone personal space . The main dining room lacked supervision to a dining experience and focused on resetting tables instead . To say it was a poor dining experience is a understatement .

the ship was clean overall . the ship layout was confusing as the flow bow to stern changed from floor to floor . We had to back track often .

it is a old small ship with limited entertainment . great for daily ports but would be a poor experience for anything over a 3 day voyage at sea .
Booked on line a free walking tour . Excellent guide that provided in sight to public murals , food and drink . Town has numbered streets that make navigating easy . Locals were helpful / polite when asking for help. Some natural begging but they were not harassing .
What a great experience . One of the top 3 highlights of the entire trip .being able to see passage thru the canal and having the local guide on board made for a excellent experience .
Did venture off ship for a block or two . Made a return to ship as port area had nothing to offer and
presence of police cars suggested visitors were not welcomed . Travel guide suggested town visit would be a bad experience concerning crime .

Had a great experience on Ship sponsored rafting trip ,Guide was one of the best guides I ever experienced (charming , experienced , helpful just a great rafting trip experience )
We enjoyed the rafting so much that we purchased photos taken by the tour company . This however turned to Major Disappointment since the photos were not linked as promised !!

Booked island beach snorkeling trip . Short 3 minute ferry ride from port . Great place with interesting rescue exhibits well maintained beach and restrooms . They offer a dock and personal to snorkel reef which was very well done .
Very easy to get to . clean with unlimited shaded lounge chairs . Water warm but somewhat cloudy on day of visit . you can snorkel but not much to see .
Port exit hard to find . Seems shop area arranged in circle to keep shopping the main feature .
We walked to beach about 1.5 to 2 miles away . Short walk following tree lined path in center of road . Just follow all the taxis to end of road make left to light house then follow beach road . Unlimited beach areas with free beach chairs along with food / drink service . Great place for a $20 massage and good Mexican food .
