Review summary

I believe our cruising days are over. The food quality was fair at best, except for the specialty steak restaurant which was $85.00 EXTRA-Ridiculous! The staff with few exceptions was nonchalant and looked like they hated being there. Everything costs extra, first time we'd ever seen $20 for a steak during "complimentary"dinner. Sorry folks, when you add in the MANDATORY tips to everyone, your daily room rate doubles. You can book a cruise on the first class cruise lines for that. The shore excursions booked through you were by day 1) terrible, 2) very good, 3) fair, 4) good (excellent guide).

We had to ask for water and never got a towel animal on our bed.

Ship tip

The atrium was not very luxurious and on many decks you couldn't get from one end of the ship to the other.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

I'm not really sure what you were expecting...... Eating at a specialty restaurant is NOT a complementary meal! $13.50 a day for gratuities is standard and well worth it. How did gratuities double the price of your room? Were you staying in the engine room or something?

Is there a way to do this through the casino again? Sad to say but my dad died 4 weeks ago. I was sitting in the airport headed to florida and got the call. We still went. (We did not have medical issues holding us back) I really hope you get you honeymoon!

Cant ever afford ti do it again. It was free through casino.

Sfry I am so sorry for your downward turn. You will be going on your cruise! 31 years is just as good as 30. Wait for hubby to recoup and book again!!

Really???? I have never cruised but have always dreamed of it. Not trying to feel sorry for myself but i have waited 30 years for a honeymoon and finally had the chance and paid in full. Supposed to cruise April 10th but my mother passed away and my hubby has had emergency surgery to have intestines removed! And also my dog was killed so my hopes are crushed! Be thankful and stop nitpicking!!!

Those workers depend on tips. You tip in the real world, you tip on the cruise. My clients tip me $20 an hour so $13 a day seems very reasonable. I usually tip extra too.
