Everything is expensive and extra.. be prepared to spend more money on board. Drinks package is a must as they are very expensive with service charges on every single thing. I did not feel this nickel and dimes on carnival although the ships are not as nice.

Get familiar with the layout of the boat. Know where your going . The ship is huge.

Definitely enjoyed the H2O Spice deck. Provided a relaxing and secluded environment away from loud ship board activities and crowds.

Find the burger grille on 16 and order a "child's" burger. The regular size is a two-fister. The waffle-fries scrumptious, if warm.

Avoid the main buffet for breakfast. Go to Cagney's at 9 AM. same fare but less crowded and more comfortable.

Nerissa at the Garden Café makes the best crepes at sea, and is charming while doing it.

You can order a continental breakfast to be delivered to your room at no cost which my husband did. Also, the dining room will deliver food to your room so it will be waiting for you when you return after seeing a show and/or dancing the night away.

Shakers lounge was a great spot for cocktails before dinner. Chris was the best , always happy and pleasant. Music with Angel was wonderful.

We walk mostly between the 5,6,7,8 15 and 16 floor. We tried Four restaurants but came most often to the 15 floor back of the ship restaurant ( self service) food was good...

All of the staff were courteous beyond the norm. They couldn't do enough for the guests.

The girls loved the Garden Cafe and I enjoyed The Manhattan Room and Savor. Did like being able to eat 24/7.

Get the NCL app for your phone if you go on this ship and have a large group. It will cost you $10 per person to be able to text, but it was a life saver on this ship. Keeping up with my adult children made it nice. We could have our space, but still be in contact.
