To travel forward-to-aft or vice-verca go through on Deck 6, to avoid the crowds, smoke and clutter on Deck 7, the casino, upper atrium bars and O'Sheehan's. Note: Theatre is forward; dining, aft.

Make sure you have travel insurance that allows you to cancel. And make sure you cancel 72 hours before departure otherwise it's no good.

Moderno is open for complimentary lunch dining on some days. It's nicer than the Garden Restaurant and has a nice outdoor section.

This ship is affected by small amounts of weather. We missed Stockholm because we had 8 foot waves and slight winds. I appreciate them keeping us safe but their communication was horrendous and their decisions to not port affected a lot of passengers. When we arrived at Copenhagen ALL guests were told they had to disembark via a letter in their stateroom, no announcement. I felt so bad for people trying to change travel and hotel arrangements or looking for transfers to Warmunde Germany where they were supposed to disembark. It was an experience that will make me think twice before sailing with Norwegian again. I suggest they improve their customer service when these decisions are made.

Dont order the water package. We paid $54 for 24 bottles of water. We brought most of them home. There is water all over this ship.

If you want to experience the phenomenal food in the specialty dining restaurants definitely get the dining package. However, to get the most for your money go to the restaurants that are ala carte versus a set fee per person. Ask for a map of the ship at check in.

Take more than a week cruise! I cant say enough about the food and drinks. But most of all it has to do with the staff which in my opinion are outstanding. Only rude and annoying people were unfortunately the travellers!

Bring own music , fitted sheet & if you bring LED candles to create your own atmosphere in room or balcony... we were raided at midnight as the bridge thought they were real candles. They came into our room as we were lying on the balcony. So embarrassing!

Bring room deodorizer, 3M stick up hooks to hang things like bathing suits. I would have opted for a shorter cruise, I felt 10 days was to long. Take an anti nausea med, it gets rough at sea. Make sure to do excursions or you will be stuck wondering what to do at port. Bring water bottles

We are not a fan of the free style cruise. We like to have a set time for dinner to meet up with our group and to get to know our waite staff.
