Overall it was ok, it was a good experience and the ports were good. I myself will not do a cruise again. I will stick to destination vacations from now on.
Embarkation

CRAZY!!!!!!! Very unorganized and took forever to get on the ship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Buffet was good, but by the time you got some fighting the crowd to get the food, find a place to sit and eat it, it was cold. We didn’t have 1 warm meal the entire time 🙁
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool was extremely cold the entire time so didn’t use it. It was mostly filled with teenagers. Hot tubs were warmish but full most of the time so didn’t use them. Rockwall was mostly line ups so again, didn’t do it. Used the gym one time but then realized they didn’t have laundry fasilities unless they did it for you at a ridiculous price so put a stop to that
Entertainment

There was a few really great bands, saw them a few times
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Went to one of the restaurants and the waiter had zero personality, didn’t say much. Not sure if it was a language barrier or what but it was weird lol. Staff at the buffet were great, tables were always cleaned really fast and ready for the next parties. Room was kept ok, our sheets were never changed, bed was just kinda made up for us. Towels changed out, basics. For the most part staff seemed happy
Ship Quality

Layout was good, huge.......
Not sure why but almost everywhere we went on the ship, you could smell sewage. Our room also had a strange smell as well, maybe ventilation?? Not really sure. Bathrooms were not well kept. Everywhere you went there was a staff member ready to spray hand sanitizer innyour hand
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
If you order a queen bed, prepare yourself for 2 twin beds pushed together lol. It was strange to say the least. Mattress had a massive rip along the seam so the separation was even worse. Room had a strange smell that never seemed to go away.
Ship tip
Bring room deodorizer, 3M stick up hooks to hang things like bathing suits. I would have opted for a shorter cruise, I felt 10 days was to long. Take an anti nausea med, it gets rough at sea. Make sure to do excursions or you will be stuck wondering what to do at port. Bring water bottles
Can’t say enough good things about New Orleans, hands down the best part of this vacation and will be going back for sure. We booked a few nights at a hotel so we could enjoy it before leaving on the cruise
Thank you for your post. Cruising is one of those trips that if it is not for you it is hard to enjoy. I love to cruise but I have friends and family who just don't.
