It was nice but I will try another cruise line for my next cruise. Food was not good and for the price I thought the selection would be better. Will try royal Caribbean or celebrity next time.

We have a great experience on the Breakaway during the last week before back to school.  We had a large group of 40 family members ranging from 10 - Seniors and everyone had a great time.  The food selection and taste was very good.  There were also plenty of activities on board for all(Rope course, Rock wall, slides,)  Our fellow guests were also very respectful and made the vacation enjoyable.  Bermuda was beautiful. WE did Horse Shoe Bay, Hamilton, St. George. 

Reserve your shows and dinners in advance. Special restaurants are  very good as are the shows.  People still smoke on their balconies even though it will result ìn $250 fine.   No signs telling them not to smoke.   Gym equipment is very low end.  Buffet is very crowded at peak times.  Staff and crew are ģreat.  

While everyone's taste is different, the Norwegian Breakaway is an outstanding ship! We felt it was first class all the way- from the food, to the contemporary decor, to the crew, the activities-everything was top notch. The ship is meticulous, the crew is attentive and helpful. I do recommend reviewing the deck plans before boarding- it will really help you find your way around this huge ship. Yes it holds 4000 people but we never really felt crowded. We enjoyed the outdoor part of Deck 8 called the Waterfront. The views from the top decks 16, 17 and 18 were magnificent. The arrival in Bermuda was lovely even though it rained two of the three mornings we were there. We had an Ocean view stateroom mid ship (5194). If you use the Garden Cafe buffet, use it off peak hours. The ship is geared for families and children. But there are plenty of bars and lounges for adults only. There is also a video arcade for the kids, a teen lounge, a climbing wall, zip lining, miniature golf, large chess set, bowling, the list goes on an on. Don't hesitate- book it! 

We, (my husband & I), absolutely wanted to travel to Bermuda because we thought it mite be a lil different from some of the "other" islands, plus, we thought remaining on the island for several days was also a bit unique. WELL, all our thoughts were as such.  It was different and remaining on the Island allowed us time to get acquainted with a "bunch of stuff"; quite frankly, we would return for more sightseeing, fun and adventure.

Additionally the ship ride and services were great, although the balcony could have been more spacious. Initially I had a issues with water going out of the cabin shower drain and when I reported the matter it was immediately addressed.

Food  was great and the entertainment was extraordinary but limited and we weren't too happy about having to pay additionally to see a play, should have all been included.  Further the "inclusive" restaurants menus were duplicated therefore the options weren't as versatile as it seemed. Even further, there were too many "to pay" restaurants, that should have been inclusive in the package.  

Nevertheless, I would travel on Norwegian again, I Loved the freestyle atmosphere.

Overall we had a great time. My 11yr old son loved the youth program and my 3yr old hung out by the kiddie pool most of the time. I loved the variety of shows and activities for me and my husband. The food was good especially at the buffets. Compare the food at the restaurants before paying the cover charge.  Some of the complementary restaurants serve the same food.  My only complaints are the pools as well as my room balcony were too small. 

We will cruise again with NCL because of the awesome experience we had with Breakaway.                                                       .                                                         .

Just came back from trip to Bermuda aboard the NCL Breakway Ship.

Staff was friendly and very attentive, room with a window, very spacious,

drink package highly recommended.  The trip getting on and off the ship

was very organized.  Even thought shipped was entirely booked with 4000

it never seemed that way.  Ship very well planned out.

Overall the ship is great! From dinning to staff, plenty of bars and food is everywhere. Love the casino, it payout regularly. There are lots of activities for kids, but I must say the water/pool area is not enough to accommodate 3000+ guests. Bermuda is beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful. The beaches is breathtaking, the pink sand, the crystal clear water ahhh.. just love, love. Will be back again. 

One more time we went to Bermuda on The Breakaway, this time was even better my family and myself enjoyed the one of the free treats (Beverage included).

It was one of the best vacations we ever had.!!! 

Not worth the money you can never find food at night terrible service cabin small no towels ever bermuda was the only great thing. They need to care about the customers and not just the money

Perfect vacation for family. NCL Breakaway is an awesome ship. This was our first cruise vacation so cannot compare with others but it was an awesome ship and so many things to do that we could not do it all in 7 nights.

I definitely would recommend this cruise. The only fall back is the pool. It is too small and too crowded. The specialty restaurants are awesome. The regular restaurants are okay. Definitely take the alcohol package it is well worth it. They didn't have many outdoor theme dinners as they did on the Dawn.

Loved it! Except for the pools. Didn't like that my teenage daughter has to go to the kiddie pool. The food was okay. We ordered room service and it was cold. But the entertainment was amazing and the activities were super fun.  

This was my second cruise, I had a great time with my family. We were 13 altogether. Ten adults two children, the kids loved it. The food was the best and I ate so much hope that I did not gain any weight. Also the ship did not rock at all I was afraid that I would gotten sea sick I am very happy about that. Next time I will use NCL for sure.

The Breakaway is much larger than other ships we sailed on.  The food was great.  Service was good. Room very nice.  Bermuda is always beautiful with friendly people.  Entertainment in the ship's theater was a little "overboard" (pun intended) and not for everyone. Especially with so many children on board. If you have to purchase the unlimited drink package it may not be worth the expense. The over 4000 passengers make the ship very noisy. There is no quiet place outdoors to sit and read a book.  Seating by the pool is limited and people place towels on chairs early so none are left by 7:30 in the morning.

Disappointed in this ship and the cruise line.  Disembarked earlier with no explanation as to why.  Just received an email several days prior. Poor Communication!   The pool was very overcrowded.  1 adult pool for over 4,000 passengers.  REALLY?  No place for teens to swim.  They have to go swim in the  feet deep pool with the 5 year olds BUT CHARGE ADULT PRICE FOR THE VACATION.  This is my second cruise with Norweigan and I AM DONE!!   Now I understand why I choose Royal Carribbean, Celebrity and Princess over you!

NCL Freestyle really is just what we wanted in a cruise.  Eat where you want and when you want.  The entire staff was incredible and extremely friendly.  The entertainment was top notch and we especially loved the Howl At The Moon dueling pianos.  

Most relaxing vacation ever. Bermuda was just beautiful and we met so many people on this cruise. The staff was awesome and the food was great. This cruise killed the last carnival cruise i was on. Will definitely be back

I liked the cruise , I just would like less al a cart costs. The staff is amazing and pleasant. Loved the balcony room! I liked the drink package, liked the beaches in Bermuda,not enough pools on boat. Ice cream in certain resturants cost extra, kids running down the hallways at 2:30am!
