Not a fan of the gi-normous ships, would prefer a medium sized ship. We are old, we don't need a floating amusement park! Would rather have more room on the lido decks and maybe a bigger pool. I think they are stretching themselves too thin; too many bars, too many restaurants, quality is slipping a bit. But if you like that kind of thing, it would be great! Like I said at the beginning, not really a review, more a matter of my opinion. We are keeping an open mind about NCL, going on a smaller ship next year, so we will see how it compares to this one.

The weather wasn't the best, but this isn't the fault of NCL. The ship had a lot of activities, but not enough staff. It seemed we were always waiting, which didn't happen when we were on the Pearl in 2019. There were many rude people, and a few violent fights (thankfully of which we didn't see). I will stick to NCL's smaller ships :)

Enjoyed the cruise. No bad experiences. We love cruising and look forward to our next. Breakaway was great ship.

Would love to see staff with more control of chairs etc.

This was my first time on NCL as I’ve only cruised Royal Caribbean and Carnival. I felt that the main dining room food was good as well as Buffett. The speciality restaurants didn’t impress us at all. I thought the food was very bland and honestly not as good as the main dining. The one thing that was a total turn off was the fact they charged for a bottle of water. We had the drink package and with RCL and carnival bottled water was alway free of charge. This was kind of a turnoff to me. I enjoyed it but and certainly had fun but I felt I got a better value on Royal Caribbean. I certainly would sail NCL again but not my first choice. I felt as if there were many more up charges for small stuff that is usually included.

I have nothing negative to say about the overall cruise experience on NCL. For the past 20 years, we've usually taken an annual cruise on Princess, Carnival, RCCL or NCL. Each one has positive and negatives. We usually travel with mostly adults but have been with children and grandchildren as well. I suggest going off season if possible to avoid up to 50% children on board during summers and holidays. We went once during Thanksgiving break and it seemed the parents let the children run-a-muck. Never again during peak times! Most of our cruises have been in winter and this seems to work well for us.

Very nice ship. Good food. Great wait staff. Clean rooms. Poor pool layout. Would not go back on this ship again because of the pool area. Kids were not any problems. No seating next to the pool. Had to go to the above deck to lay in the sun.

We're cruise junkies, so we're always glad to be on a cruise ship. Just relax and take things as they come. Treat crew as you want to be treated, whether you're on vacation or not

We had a great time despite the poor customer service & bad food. Unfortunately this left a bad taste for NCL. I don't think we will ever book another NCL cruise. Going bad to Royal Caribbean for sure.

The week went by way to quick. We enjoyed every moment.

Our cruise overall was excellent. The service was great for Haven guests; our room was fantastic; the food and drinks were off the charts! The boat was pretty rocky some days, but other than that, I'd do it again!

We had a great time on the cruise, but I think next time we will be going back to Carnival! We also are looking at smaller ships as it is just too crowded on these larger ships- hard to get a drink...hard to do anything. The food did not live up to our expectations, So we get more bang for our buck on Carnival we believe. We missed the movies under the stars, the larger pool area, and many other things. The cruise directors also are better on Carnival, I feel. we did not like ours on this cruise. But we didn’t let those things wreck our vacation; we still had a great time and it’s hard to be back in the snow again!

Was an okay cruise, but enjoyed the Sky better!! Pool deck was to small and no lounge chairs in the sun around pool. All on the upper deck.

We will be going on another cruise for sure. Thank you to the Captain. Staff .we never felt rushed and we enjoyed time on ship and off ship we meet lots of nice people.the ship is amazing .the food is outstanding the shows were great

Crowds are almost every where. Even specialty restaraunts charges have upcharges on their base fees !! Watch the fine print on what specific liquors are covered in your drink package We missed most shows because we could not get advance tickets which were booked up pre-cruise date. We even went IMEDIATELY upon boarding to get tickets and could not do so ! Had a broken desk chair . Was never fixed or replaced. We finally had it removed on day 2. But never received a replacement. Could NOT use in room refrigerator - both locked and told it was only for mini bar items Be prepared for crowded decks, restaurants and bars Luggage difficult to locate and retrieve. Too many people and narrow isles.

It wasn’t the best cruise we’ve ever been on, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Someone to clean your room, people to cook and clean up after, what’s not to like? We didn’t do any excursions this time. Chose to just go with flow and relax. Having the towels to check out/in right when you get off ship was nice as well as the cool towel to wipe your brow before you got back on ship.

It was windy and cold in FL when we left and it continued to follow us to the Bahamas causing us to skip the private island as it was. The crew was good, but we didn't think the restaurant staff or many of the passengers cared too much for the sanitary precautions necessary on a loaded ship, at least until the last couple of days when even the buffet was served to us by staff so the handles of the serving items would not get contaminated. (We believe it was because of the Princess Diamond situation with the coronavirus.) In any case, back in port our breakfast was not served to us. Restaurant meals were not as good, or varied as much as on our previous cruises.The elevators were large, available and intelligent and greatly appreciated.

We sail on Norwegian or Royal Caribbean both have good things to offer but this was our first 10 day cruise and wish it was longer as people were not in a hurry to pack all the events in so quickly and was more relaxed. Going to look for longer trips soon.

I was looking for a cruise the went to Jamaica, Barrier Reef and 2 ports in Mexico and this was the best option. The ship was good and I've got what I wanted. Everything worked well, I didn't have any problem and enjoyed the ship and onshore.

The first two days we had heavy Seas so they cancelled the NCL private island stop. This was one of the reasons we choose this cruise so we were bummed. One of the shows on the ship the was great was the dualing pianos and the night they had a violinist show up that was from Ireland and she played a couple of songs was was unbelievable. She was so good! All and all we had a great cruise and looking forward to our next one. Good job NCL!
