Review summary

We were so lucky with perfect weather on this cruise. This was our third cruise on the Breakaway and we were VERY disappointed that the Uptown Grill is now Margaritaville. We went to the Uptown Grill EVERY day for burgers for lunch. The place was always hopping and SO much fun. PLEASE bring it back!! I have to say we did not even go to Margaritaville even once.

Howl at the Moon was marginal . Three years ago the performers were outstanding but this cruise not so much!!

The area on deck where the band plays is sooo chopped up. Same goes for where the pool is, it's set up weird so we will be taking a break from sailing on the breakaway

isnt there another complimentary restaurant also where uptown was? i know margaritaville is there, but saw somewhere that there is another one. we were on Breakaway in November and had lunch at margaritaville. not overly impressed with it. but there is a sign outside for another restaurant there. just cant think of the name now.

missed the uptown grill too. NCL had to add a pay lunch place to offset the bottled water that they aren't selling. $5.50 plus 18% for a single bottled water purchases in the cabin, boo ! and the 7.95 for room service, boo boo

I LOVED Uptown Grill ! Ugh! So sad that it is no longer there. They had such great salads and burgers! We ate there almost every day. I will miss it.

emcgill: totally agree about Uptown vs Margaritaville but NCL has a multi year contract and its not going away soon.

Any helpful hints? We are going on out first cruise in the Breakaway in a few weeks... Which restaurants are complementary? I feel like we paid enough for the cruise, I'm trying to keep my wallet closed.. thank you..
