Review summary

Love cruising Alaska but would not recommend this cruise.

Embarkation

Bags are left throughout the hall so you walk around finding them

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was just ok, sometimes disappointing. Drinks we fine- nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Having a 17 yr old- there really wasn’t much for him. He did the go karts and laser tag (both an additional fee) but otherwise there wasn’t anything else. Only 2 ping pong tables both outside.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Dining room service was slow and not the friendliest. They were not personable at all. The host/hostesses were rude at times. Compared to other ships- overall the staff did not see to enjoy their job.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Balcony- it was clean however seemed smaller than the balcony on Royal Caribbean

Ship tip

The observation deck was the best part of the ship and where we spent most our time. Without that- the trip would not have been enjoyable

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

4 out of 5
Very quick. Our last cruise spent more time there

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

4 out of 5
Did the whale watching and seafood fest excursion. The whale watch was very disappointing as we just rode down on way and back. We saw whales twice- once was close like we hoped for. It didn’t feel like we were really trying to find whales. My sister did an excursion at same time and they saw more. Supposedly the captains are in touch with one another and tell you where to find them yet we didn’t see the ones playing she did.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

3 out of 5
Was a quick stop which was fine for us since we had been before but you should get in line early to catch the bus back.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

We didn’t get to port until 8 pm and based off last cruise- things were closing so we didn’t get off.

I’ve been on the Bliss and on that cruise and every one that I’ve been on my luggage has been left right outside my door. I’ve never had to go searching for it.
