Review summary

Not having anything to compare with, I was really happy with my first cruise experience. It was a great way to see Alaska and wish we could spend more time at the ports during the time around 10am - 6pm.

Not much for 1 1/2 year olds except for guppies. It was unfortunate that age can't go in the swimming pool since my granddaughter has been taking swim lessons and loves the water.

Service and Staff

Staff was great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was my first cruise but felt the ship's design and layout was good. Staff was great at keeping everything clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Beds were comfortable and like it was a king size bed. The rooms are small but I understand all cruise ship rooms are small.

Ship tip

Schedule tours and speciality restaurants early.

Wish we were at this port longer. Our whale watching excursion took the whole time and we never got to see the town, which I heard was one of the best town of the ports we stopped at.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

Too long at this port, with not as much to see. It would be nice to get at the ports later in the mornings and staying later at all the ports.

KETCHIKAN (WARD COVE), ALASKA

This was a fun port but was cut short because of the 4th of July parade, with the last bus leaving at 10:15am to get back to the ship.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

This was too late to get off, go through customs and get back in a short stop, so we stayed on the ship.

Disembarkation

Everything was easy and quick, with our shuttle bus to the parking lot ready to pick us up.
