Review summary

I'm glad I got to experience Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia and Panama. This is only the 2nd cruise I've been on and I don't think I'll ever travel with Norwegian again. There was not enough common spaces. Most shows were standing room only. We had trouble finding places to sit after we got our food. I enjoyed being in our group of people and got to know them better.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Employees screaming at us to move, other employees screaming at us NOT to move, it was horrible!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was great! However of the 15 of us in our group, all but 1 got sick from food or water.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We went on the go carts and that was fun. Also the mini golf. The 2 pools were too small for the amount of people on board and they were VERY salty.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw Six, The Jersey Boys and The Beatles. All extremely good. The comedian was horrible and people left during the middle of the show. He chased them down the isles.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our cabin steward was GREAT!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Employees were always cleaning public areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was good and we enjoyed it. Not enough storage. we ended up putting our empty suitcases under the bed.

Ship tip

There is not enough common areas for the amount of people on board. We always felt crowded and couldn't get chairs to sit.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Leaving the ship was ok. However the bus driver taking us to the airport dropped everyone off at the arrivals. Since we had never been to the Miami airport we didn't have a clue where to go and had to drag our luggage all over the airport until we found the correct place.

Actually, we went through the first three locks at night. 3/4 of the sailing was during daylight and the final three locks we passed through starting at about 10am and finishing about 11:30. Canal transit is controlled by the Panama Canal Authority's. We had to pass under the Bridge Of The America's at low tide because our ship is so tall. Once under the bridge we couldn't just sit there and block the entrance to the canal waiting for daylight. We prefer the smaller ships in general but were pleasantly surprised with the Bliss.
