This was a great trip with a few hiccups on a beautiful ship! We will be back to sail to Alaska again in the future but we'll do things a little different next time to get the most out of the ports of call.

Embarkation

Embarkation was very easy, just a little nerve wracking with the pre-covid testing within 24hrs before checkin but it all worked out.

Food was great everywhere we eat.

Had a very nice dinner here, just wasn't happy about where they sat us, we were stuck in a corner with a limited view out the window but it was still a very good dinner and our waiter was great.

Ocean Blue

Very disappointed, we had 5:00 reservations only to be told that I could not be seated because I was wearing shorts (I had a nice pair or dress shorts and a brand new Hawaiian shirt on), they told me I had to go put on long pants and it didn't matter what they looked like. As I was walking back to my room to change I turned back and looked at the guy who was behind me in an old pair of dirty jeans with holes in them. I got pissed went back into Ocean Blue to get my wife who they seated. We went up to the Garden Café and had a great dinner.

The Observation Lounge

This was our favorite place Olga was assume she gave us lots of info on things to do and places to go and we were never without a drink. All the other bar staff as well did a great job. The views from the Observation Lounge on clear days were breath taking, we hope to see these people and sail on the Bliss again in the future. This is a beautiful ship!

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

Disappointed again, did the Whale Watching & Mendenhall Glacier excursion which was ok the only thing is we spent so much time looking for whales by the time we finally got to the glacier we only had 45 minutes to walk around so didn't have time to walk down the path to the Glacier for the best pictures which takes 45-50 minutes, very disappointing.

Did the Seafood Feast & Tribal Dance Show, it was pretty good, got a nice Crab leg lunch after the show, very nice place for such a short stay.

We canceled the excursion we had booked (Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show) so we could walk around the town and do a little shopping which was very very nice. We did get refunded for the excursion.

Victoria, British Columbia

This port stop was a WASTE OF TIME! The ship was only in port for 4 hrs, by the time we docked and got off the ship it was 8:10pm and you have to be back on the boat by 11:30, we had an excursion (Victoria by Horse-Drawn Trolley) we had originally booked for 1 hour from 8:00-9:00 but it was rescheduled to 10:00-11:00pm so to kill time we stopped at a little pub on the dock for a quick drink and a cup of chowder which took about 45 minutes and then started walking to the town about a 15-20 minute walk only to have a bunch of people walking back to the ship tell us that everything was closed except an ice cream stand (all the businesses close at 9:00pm) so we turned around and headed back to the pub which we found was now closed to because it was after 9:00pm, by this time it was dark and decided to skip the excursion and eat the money (79.00pp) because it was to dark to see anything and if you watch the video it was definitely not going to be what you see in the video so don't waste your money like we did. We just went back on the ship for more food and drinks and enjoyed the rest of our last night. My advice don't waste your time in this port stay on the ship you'll be glad you did!

Disembarkation

Disembarkation was very easy, we did the walk off at 7:15am, grabbed a cab and was at the airport by 8:30.
