Review summary

Cruise was great but NCL blew us off. The testing that we paid for on board was mid handled and our tests got contaminated so we couldn’t get home. Our test tubes where not bagged but handled by various people and tested inside a van with many others not in separated containers/bags We had to get another test completed that night at the airport which was sealed immediately and sent to a proper lab and we both came back negative. So we are out money for extra tests and new flights. It was disgusting that NCL washed their hand off the situation when we paid good money for tests that they had at the port. They should have paid for our second test and ensured we had guidelines off all necessary steps to get us home safely when they managed our whole booking from start to finish. But blow off us is disgusting

After we got off all hell broke out as our covid test came back positive. NCL left us standing outside for over 3 hours without any direction off what we might have to do since we couldn’t get on our flight home and where strangers in LA

No one should be surprised; as much as I love NCL they are there to make money as are all the other cruise lines. My wife and I where supposed to cruise on the 2 January, both of us tested less than 48 hrs prior to boarding (PCR test/both Negative). NCL tested us at the port and I popped positive, they pulled me into another part of the terminal and did another test and again showed positive. The only interaction I had with NCL was a lady had me a piece of paper and walked away (she didn’t say a word). I’ve been trying to get reimbursed every since. They did reimburse me all but $500 and told me to contact the insurance company for the remainder. NCL could set the bar for costumer service easily if they even half way tried. They should have had a representative there to start the refund process immediately it would have relieved a lot of stress. We have rebooked our cruise cruise for next week and hope it goes better.
