This cruise was everything we needed it to be! Due to the pandemic, the ship was at 50% capacity, which meant NO LINES anywhere! We had a great time, and honestly wish it could’ve been longer. New Year’s Eve was a blast, the only thing I would’ve changed was the DJ’s playlist at the Social. I can’t wait to do it all again!

The COVID-19 testing process was nerve wrecking!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Everything, with the exception of room service French fries was delicious! Q Smokehouse is to die for! Those smoked peach margaritas were on my to do list every night. Cagney’s never disappoints. Coco’s crepes are so, so good. Teppanyaki is always a good time and the American Diner burgers were decent. My husband loved them. The dining rooms Taste, Savor, and Manhattan were elegant and the food and service, impeccable.
Humidor Cigar Bar

This is one of the sexiest venues on the ship. It’s tucked away and so very player. It’s a great spot for photos.
The Local Bar & Grill

My husband loves this place. If he had his way, we would’ve eaten there every day….wait, lol, I think we did! 😆 They’re open 24 hours and the pancakes and chicken salad sandwiches were my favorites.
Maltings Whiskey Bar

This is a great spot with a super dope vibe and atmosphere. Manuel at the outside section of this bar was friendly and fun. You can also whale watch from here. The views are dynamic!
Starbucks

Just like the ones at home and Ramon was one of my favorite baristas!
Q Texas Smokehouse

This was my favorite restaurant on the ship. I could’ve eaten here every night but the portions are colossal! The ladies there are wonderful but the smoked peach margarita, even better! 😘🍑
Coco's

One word: Delicious!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
My husband and I were on the Not so newlywed game show, which was a forever memory! We were cruise ship celebrities afterwards, which we totally did not expect. There were a variety of activities onboard, truly something for everyone but for me personally, some of them I attended weren’t so fun.
Entertainment

Again, plenty of variety but not all we’re entertaining. Jersey Boys was overrated and the Stevie Wonder tribute was surprisingly good. The DJs left a lot to be desired. 90’s night was the most disappointing. There was so much great music from pop, country, and hip-hop! Somehow, the night turned into a heavy metal concert, ( there were a few great songs there as well) the crowd dissipated, and I left with a headache. I’ve been on other NCL cruises when the DJs were insane, so I was not expecting the opposite on the Bliss. Unfortunately, we did not attend any comedy shows.
Children's Programs
There were no children with us.
Service and Staff

The customer service was truly amazing everywhere we went.
Ship Quality

The ship was elegantly beautiful! I was happy to see the Christmas decorations were still all over the ship. The trees were stunning. The cleanliness of all venues, restrooms, and even elevators was awesome!
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a club balcony suite and loved it. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our room steward, Carlo, was friendly, professional, and accommodating.
Ship tip
Pace yourself and form a plan to see everything. There’s so much to see and do! The observation deck and The District Brewhouse we’re two of our favorite places to be.
Beautiful, simply beautiful! We did the whale watching excursion and it was, hands down, one of the best moments of my life. I cried. We saw four male humpback whales breaching out of the ocean, REPEATEDLY! I have tons of video footage. Roger, our tour guide and a marine biologist was so excited! He said he had never seen anything like it. We were in a small boat of 21 people and we were so close to the whales, it was surreal. I feel blessed to have had such a breath taking experience.
I felt unsafe downtown. It was a lot of shadiness and we were being watched. After twenty minutes, we went to the closest public beach to the ship and were asked to leave because we didn’t have wristbands. We were off and back on the ship in an hour and ten minutes. Needless to say, we were elated to be back on the ship. We did not book a shore excursion there.
We took the shuttle into town and they also offered tours, which ,any of us on the shuttle paid an additional $20 to be a part of. We went to the blow hole ( forgive me for forgetting the name) that wasn’t blowing and to a large swap meet. It was extremely crowded and they were charging to use the restrooms. Luckily, we didn’t have to go!! All in all, it was a decent tour but it was too long for me. It was five hours long.
