Review summary

So this is our second day on this ship. I warn you please please stay away from this cruise line at all costs and this ship in particular. If you have booked it already cancel right away. We have waited in lines now for two straight days. We were promised amenities like free drinks and internet and then told they were not on our account. We have been spoken to rudely. They charged us more than the whole cruise already and it is day 2 because we were supposed to include items they just didn’t include. They don’t give one care about their guests on this ship. There is a line of 30 people complaining today and yesterday there was 50. We waited a total of 3 hours today and 3 hours yesterday in lines. I pray that you are reading my review before coming on this ship because I will be saving you the worst trip of your entire life. We have been on 20 cruises and this is like staying at a motel 6 at sea except the people are much ruder. Every step you take they are trying to take your money. They purposely close their free restaurants early so that you have to pay to eat. I don’t mind paying a little but understand that everything promised

We are currently next to the Bliss in Cabo San Lucas on the MS Koningsdam now. She is a beautiful ship. We sailed on her about a month ago and although we think Norwegian is not the cruiseline for us we still had a great cruise. The crew was very nice. Food was good. We enjoyed the music also. Latin duo was the best! Sorry your cruise is not what you expected! There will always be bumps but try to have as best a time as you can!

It sucks you had such a bad experience, but that's why others pointed out sometimes your stateroom category will dictate the experience you have onboard. I booked a Club Balcony Suite, so my experience may be different. I booked my upcoming 14-day through a travel agency. I was always calling NCL to confirm the things on my contract (my cruise is very expensive, so I wanted to make sure I got everything that was coming to me) and I also called the agency to confirm and ask a load of questions. My particular package included excursion credit, premium dining, beverage package, internet, and shipboard credit. Since it included a lot, I made sure it was on my account. At this point with Omicron, I'm just kind of hoping that my cruise sails at reduced capacity.

Did you book through a travel company or directly with ncl? Did you read your cruise contract before boarding ? Probably not. I have been on the Bliss and thought it was a wonderful 5 Star cruise ship.

Did you book a Sail Away cabin? That price category does not include the drink package or premium dining.
