Review summary
Recently did a cruise to Alaska aboard the bliss and overall the ship was great. Now that everyone is pointing out all the postive aspects about the ship, I’d like to point out a couple of things that upset me. 1. My father twisted his ankle going down the stairs on the first day during the muster drill. When he tried to see a nurse for some ice and a wrap he was told the nurses are only on staff from 6pm-730pm. If he wanted to be seen by the nurse off hours it would be $200. This is ridiculous; there should be a nurse on staff at all times. 2. Buffet during my cruise closed down way too early. After 9pm all I was able find was pizza and burgers; after 10 it was closed. I expected it to be open later than that. 3. Water slides were rarely open, even during a full day at sea in 60 degree weather. Could never get a straight answer from any of the crew about when we could use them. Other then that the cruise was amazing.Embarkation
