Review summary

I thought the food would be better. Breakfast room service needs pancakes or french toast, sweet options. Communication was great on the ship. When calling client services, no one ever answered. Spa services are wonderful and so is the spa. It was cool that the ship captain got so close to the glaciers, most ships cannot do that, they are too big. Mendenhall Glacier was not that cool, really melting fast. The whale watching was disappointing also, thought we would see them a little closer. My husband did the halibut fishing and was really awesome in Ketchikan.

Spa area was awesome, fitness center great. Pools small, hardly anyone swam, but it was chilly also.

Loved the band in the Rock and Roll stage, needed more Bingo, trivia tended to be at dinner time.

Service and Staff

They were great, room always clean and stewards attentive. Great service in dining rooms except Pinnacle, took over 2 hours to eat dinner. Bar service was always slow, they need to come up with a way to track clients drinks without using tickets, that was a hassle to sign those all the time and took away from service.

Very clean, the entire ship. Never saw any trash around at all!

Bed was comfortable and everyhting was clean and sanitized, loved the balcony!
