Review summary

This ship Is tired and old fashioned. There was no evening life on board. All bars deserted by around 11pm. Certainly not the life and soul of the party

Felt the same as you terrible entertainment. Not the best service. Overcharged for drinks. Now come home to find I have been charged for a dressing gown and the suitcase cover that they put in the bed. Hobart and Gisborne a complete waste of time

Maybe you should review the line you're going to cruise with first. Our first cruise was on the Noordam and we couldn't rate it highly enough.

Holland America is not known for their night life on ships. We have cruised with them twice but was aware that they have an older crowd and the ship is pretty quiet after 10 PM. That’s fine with us as we are turning in by 10.
