Review summary
We loved the Pacific Islands; Dravuni and Lefou were particularly amazing in their beauty. The Australian cities had plenty of sights, museums and history. When we arrived in New Zealand we saw a country of great beauty with plenty of sheep and a big dairy business. We especially liked Wellington as a great city having the best museum (Te Papa).
As far as the Noordam is concerned, the food was good, but not over the top, and their cabin and restaurant service was very good. We have sailed HAL in the past and plan to do so again. We did not use many HAL excursions as we found that we could walk ashore and generally get about the same for much less. This was especially true of the railway trip in Duneden.

Ship tip
Once on board, we were able to get early seating, then go to open dining, and then back to early. We enjoyed the flexibility.
