My husband and I would cruise again with Holland America's Nieuw Statendam class ships. We were once again pleased all around.

A beautiful and comprehensive selection of well prepared and very tasty items, often including various excellent Asian cuisines in addition to traditional European dishes. The servings in the dining rooms were good sized and delicious as well. We noticed a couple of very high-priced items were not offered, but with costs having soared, we do not mind. It was great to be back on board! The room service menu however was very limited and could use quite a few additional offerings! I was sick with a flu for about 4 days - boy was that a disappointment in what I could order. Honestly, that needs to be improved a lot!

It was excellent! Quiet area - long walks to the main dining room in front, but by choice: exercise walks were good for us!

In a stateroom like ours be prepared for a state-of-the-art cabin, excellent beds and bedside nightstands - come and enjoy
Amazing island with practically no rainfall. The people however have created an amazing way to cope and grow even wine. Do go and see the entire osland!
We booked one of many mini buses. Interesting town, great to see the monkeys in areas fine for tourists. Or you can choose to take the cable car up and walk down.
