Review summary

First time cruisers. All vistas were incredible. We live in BC and are used to mountains, glaciers, wildlife, ocean & lakes, etc. However, Alaska is it's own beautiful place all together. I highly recommend this cruise. Getting food poisoning and losing two days was unfortunate, but at least it was last port with no excursions and I went home about 5 pounds lighter even with eating all day long!

4 out of 5
Some disorganization, lots of walking, but not bad overall.

Ship experiences

Main stage shows were very good, magician was top notch best I've ever seen. Music was quite good, classical, blues, r&b, rock.

Children's Programs

No children on cruise with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most ship personnel were excellent! Some missed dished at fine dining.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very clean. A bit larger than a dorm room.

Ship tip

Try fine dining dishes you aren't familiar with.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Embarked and disembarked only. Nice and clean.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
Excellent views.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

5 out of 5
Did the fjord and glacier excursion. An absolute must! Saw humpback whales, black bear, many bird species, seals, grey whale, aquamarine waters, deep blue glaciers.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Very clean and organized. Did the 5 glacier seaplane tour. Had unlimited ceiling, so pilot did a circular tour of glaciers and ice fields instead of up and down a fjord. All in all very good, but flight time was a lot shorter than advertised.

Skagway, Alaska

4 out of 5
Very tourist trappy. I found this with Juneau as well, although expected. Some vendors not very friendly, and some want to sell you everything in the store with high pressure sales tactics. Train up and back to White Pass Summit was absolutely amazing.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
What a majestic bay. Never seen anything like it. A must do.

Ketchikan, Alaska Did not visit port

Food poisoning.

5 out of 5
Very quick and simple.
