Review summary

This transatlantic cruise had a very good itinerary. Royal Caribbean shore excursions were reasonably priced especially when booked before cruise with 20 percent discount. I was disappointed with the main dining menu. RCC decided to save money by eliminating the classic items. If you wanted a steak you had to go to Chops grill and pay extra. One of the things I enjoyed on cruise ships was the included main dining experience. Already paid good money for the cruise and shouldn't have to pay extra to get the best food. Cruise lines seem to be pushing us to the specialty restaurants by cheapening the main dining menu, thus making more money. There were about 1300 Diamond or higher cruisers on board and many complained. We were told the classic items would be added back on the menu for the next sailing.

Ship tip

Book everything ahead of time when RCC offers discounts. I received multiple emails for discounts on shore excursions and internet.
