Some may find the diversity of the cruisers not to their liking. Mix a group of Americans and Europeans with a service team that can't master all of those languages and it lends to some confusing times indeed. Most US cruisers don't realize just how many Europeans fly in to sail MSC. Its not bad, its just different. Try not to get caught up in it. We're all there to have fun.

I loved having a butler but the Yacht Club is in the forward part of the ship. I would rather have been mid-ship so I didn't have to walk so much. (We're both older, with some mobility issues.) But Yacht Club is definitely the way to go. The forward view from the lounge and restaurant is fabulous!

Season the food better. Schedule more late night shows and buffets. Add more selection to the late night buffets. Have a bar open for the non-smoker late night.

I would recommend that no one sails without the beverage package or they will regret it.

Rude passengers of other nationalities. The majority of the passengers were maybe European. Not friendly people.

For cabin: Bring packing cubes for items that wont fit in the limited drawer space and closet. Wifi and App: Use the MSC& Me app to get information about what is going on around the ship. If you are a Voyager member you will be invited to special events throughout the cruise. Invitations will be sent to your cabin but will not show up on your MSC & Me app. I made a suggestion to MSC to upgrade the app to be associated with each passengers profile so it will reflect on your app. Unfortunately I missed several functions because either the invitation came late to the cabin or I forgot because I was relying too much on the MSC& Me app.

Take your time, walk around and get to know the ship. Get the drink package as it’s worth it and check the daily events first thing in the morning to know where you want to be and when.
