Review summary

It was one of our favorite cruises we’ve been on!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
We got to the port really early because we had to return our rental car early. It was smooth getting through all the checks but once we got to the waiting area we had to wait a long time. They didn’t start boarding till around 12:45 which is late compared to other cruise lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
It was really good food but the portions were small and the options were limited in the buffet and the MDR did not have that many American choices.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There was never a dull moment on board. Always stuff to do!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stage shows were the best shows I’ve seen on a cruise ship. They were short and sweet and were full of talents.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Just like most children’s and teen clubs on other cruise lines

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The service was not like other American cruise line. It was slow and the staff didn’t seem as friendly as on other lines.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The most beautiful ship we’ve ever sailed on. The layout was perfect and it was so elegant.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Spacious with nice size balcony but room stewardess was subpar at best.

Ship tip

Don’t listen to all the negative reviews it’s an amazing ship and worth trying. Just be a little more patient with the staff

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Went to the beach. Easy to get too, cheap, beautiful sand, and water

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
We rented ATV’s which was really relaxing. Got to go see the beautiful island and see the cultural differences from the Dutch and French sides.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

2 out of 5
Great port but we went late at night which was a shame because there were limited things to do.

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
Not much to do in this port. Seemed more of a tourist trap then destination

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Simple and easy walk off.

So glad to hear as we're thinking of booking with MSC for the first time. Cruised with many other Lines, but this will be our first.
