Bottom line, if you get injured on or during a cruise on MSC they will not contact you to check on you. They obviously do not care!!

Ship tip
Rude passengers of other nationalities. The majority of the passengers were maybe European. Not friendly people.
We did the excursion to Honeymoon Bay with Caribbean BBQ. We unloaded schooner to snorkel with no issues. Loved snorkeling!!! When we were unloading to go to shore for BBQ as I was stepping out a wave came, I fell backwards onto a wooden bench knocking the air out of my body. I was transferred back to port. Via rescue squad brought to hospital. The fall resulted in right sided 8th through 11th rib fractures. We were removed off ship and stayed in St Thomas after discharged from hospital for 2 days. We then flew back to Florida. To this day we have had no contact from MSC cruise lines, which to me is pathetic! I booked the excursion through MSC. This was my first cruise and it is amazing they have not reached out to me at all. The excursion we were on did reach out to me. The people in St Thomas were caring friendly people. MSC must not care at all that my first cruise was ruined by an accident and cut short. They have not credited me yet the money I put on my room key. They did not reimburse me the drink package I purchased for the Ocean Cay day I was not at. Just upsetting MSC did not nor does not care about the injury and excruciating pain I am going through.
I was sooo looking forward to this port but due to a fall on an excursion in St Thomas which resulted in right sides 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th rib fractures we were removed from ship. MSC to this day, 12/9/2019, has made no contact with me to even see how I am doing. It's very upsetting and extremely unprofessional to not contact a passenger of your ship who was injured on an excursion that was purchased through their cruise line. This was my first cruise, my first time to any island. Extremely upsetting what happened. Even more upsetting I was a passenger of this ship and no one cares that I was injured in an accident.
My boyfriend was taken back to ship and the individuals who were with him threw our belongings in our suitcases as quickly as possible. My boyfriend had no chance to even process what had just happened other than I was in the emergency department with broken ribs and unknown other injuries. Our birth certificates are gone. Even if the cruise line found them I feel confident they would not mail to us since they have not reached out to us to see what injuries I have or how I am. Very upsetting!!
I believe it! I was on MSC Divina in 2017 and we were watching the Monty's do a striptease show! One of the guys through their hat out into the audience, knocking over my drink onto my suit pants; and didn't even offer to pay for the drink or to dry clean my pants! Just want his dam hat back!
Sorry you had such a bad first experience, please don't think of not returning back to a cruise... Give it another chance!! Hope you get well soon! Take care ❤️
Very sorry that this happened to you, that you had to endure pain instead of joy in your first cruise, and especially that the staff of the cruise line has not even reached out to you to extend a word of concern for you!
