We didn't get to see Ocean Cay(the reason we booked this cruise) because cruise line lied to us - wasn't hurricane winds but a broken engine in need of more repairs

Overall my son and I had a great time. The ship was clean for the most part, loved the different types of lounges and themes for the bars were cool. easy plus drink package was very basic, only cheap tequilla.. food. ok, so buffets items were honestly pretty good. whether wed go for breakfast or lunch we had tasty fresh options as well as all the regular buffet stuff (pizza, burgers, hotdogs) dessert was good, breakfast buffets was great we would go back for seconds lol. all inclusive restaurants were ok..italian night was no good..other nights food was ok..onboard activities were fun, staff always friendly.

The MSC Seaside was my seventh cruise overall and my first one on MSC...it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Exceeded ALL my expectations of an unfamiliar cruise line and more! MSC has definitely spoiled me and knocked Carnival out of my #1 spot!! 😂 the ship was so BEAUTIFUL and by far the largest and newest I'd ever been on!!! 🙌🏽 and most of all, I LOVED THE MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW!!!!!!!!! 🎤🎶 This ship definitely has a lot of fun stuff to do (i.e. bowling alley and zip line) I would 10/10 recommend 👌🏽 P.S. I don't have kids so I can't speak on anything surrounding child-friendliness...but the splash pad did look fun

Loved this cruise, hands down the staff was what made this such a memorable experience. 10/10 would recommend MSC to anyone, with no hesitations. Will be back on board ASAP! Thank you Maria, Primas, and the entire yacht club staff!

Ocean Cay is very nice. The ship docks right at the shore. You can take a walk on the island in the evening.

2 days in Ocean Cay is Heaven. Run don’t walk to book that itinerary.

We really enjoyed this curise, our first experience on MSC, but not our last. It had some different elements to other cruise lines, but they were not negative. Enjoyed meeting crew members and talking to them.

It was the best of cruises it was the worst of cruises. It is all about what you make of it. Getting on the ship was great fast quick and efficient. After we were on the ship, going to the buffet was a total nightmare in disaster. Long lines very slow bar service long lines customer service. The m s c for me app never worked. Had to replace keycards several times could not get off the ship. You do not get tissues in your rooms. They tell you to use the toilet paper. If you want tissues it's an upgraded service for a fee.

Wasn't my worst sailing. Wouldn't sail again on this ship. Needs more activities and better food

First time on Seaside and MSC and we liked it more than going on the other cruise lines. Better shows and entertainment, better merchandise and pricing. Over all an amazing cruise. Already looking to book the next one on MSC.

This was my 1st time cruising MSC and overall I enjoyed my experience. Embarkation took about 25 minutes and we arrived at our assigned time. Our room was ready upon arrival and we stayed in an interior room on deck 11. The only complaint I had was lack of storage space. We never met our room steward this trip but I had left him a note and he followed up on all my request. The ship was absolutely beautiful and I love the many sitting areas and lounges. Deck 8 outside is fantastic for an escape from crowds. The ship did have a weird musty/mildew smell in many places but we did receive a good bit of rain on this sailing so that might have something to do with it. As far as food, we had no complaints on the quality but buffet selection got very monotonous. It did not really change from day to day. I did enjoy buffet option on 8 and 16 and the selection on deck 8 was extensive. The pizza and coffee were the best. I only went to the main dining room once and while food was good the service was SLOW from start to finish. Service overall all on this ship was comparable to service you get in many European countries. It is not over the top and a bit slower than Americans are used to. It is not a bad thing just different from service on the big 4 cruise lines. There are very few announcements throughout the cruise and you need to pay attention to time to return to ship as you are exiting ship. It did not match the app or paper schedule on several instances. MSC does deck parties well and they usually start pretty late at night. We had a blast dancing and the DJ plays a wide variety of music. We also enjoyed all the shows and the comedian was great. Make sure and make reservations on the app the night before. The private island was beautiful and my suggestion is if you got to sunrise beach make sure you have water shoes. Ouch!!!! My only complaint on the island is the buffet line was crazy long. We gave up and did the grab and go burgers and hot dogs. Express disembarkation was fairly easy. The line snaked all over the deck but it moved fast and we were off in about 15 minutes. Many people complain about MSC and I can understand how cruisers loyal to other lines and going in with those expectations could be disappointed. It is a very European experience as reflected in the service, food, and onboard activities. I appreciated a different cruise experience and was able to find the positives. I will cruise MSC again and have one in November on a different ship.

Good cruise for the price. A little more effort on the dining food would go a long way since this is an important part of the cruise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Liked that there were activities but not party atmosphere all the time.

This was our best cruise yet. We sincerely enjoyed everything. The ship was beautiful and the staff was amazing!! It was the perfect vacation!! We will definitely be sailing again on MSC!!
