Review summary

We really enjoyed this curise, our first experience on MSC, but not our last. It had some different elements to other cruise lines, but they were not negative. Enjoyed meeting crew members and talking to them.

Smooth and easy. Check-in and boarding were pleasant and without difficulty.

MDR food was good, comparable to other cruises. Pizza at buffet was fabulous.

Onboard Activities

Pools were frequently crowded. Enjoyed the various triva and quiz games around the ship. Also played bingo.

Entertainment was good--different show every night.

Waiters were friendly and always helpful. Our cabin attendant (Ram) was wonderful.

The ship is beautiful, elegantly decorated. It was easy to get to various restaurants and bars, as well as other places we wanted to go.

The cabin was large enough to not feel cramped. The balcony provided a good view.

Ship tip

Learn to use the elevators properly. They are computerized and you need to program a call for each person wanting to ride. Otherwise the elevator will arrive without room the the people waiting.
