Embarkation

Smooth and quick. Living in Puerto Rico, we were unable to upload our photos before our arrival, but they took our photos upon arrival and it went smoothly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food overall was excellent. The beef served in the main dining room was a little tough, but everything else was good. In the Ipanema restaurant (main dining area), the ceilings are a bit low, making it feel a bit crowded, and the A/c went out one evening (after an engine failure), but all other nights it was nice and cool, and the staff was WONDERFUL in the Ipanema!!!!

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The 6+ hot tubs were almost never hot, and the zipline & bowling weren't available at all, which was disappointing.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We very much enjoyed the stage shows! After reading online they were awful, our expectations were low, but we found them very entertaining, and well executed, especially Peter Punk & Michael !!! Fantastic!! The comedy show was ok. Overall, we enjoyed all the shows and appreciated the multiple times to choose from each evening.

Children's Programs

We don't have children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward Stephanie was amazing, as was the dining staff!! Soooooo nice! Most of the bartenders were friendly - except for a few around last call time (casino bartenders were AWESOME), but guest services staff were AWFUL!!! It was a running joke that each day they compete amongst themselves to see who can be the rudest to guests. They are rude and should be replaced.

Ship Quality

The layout was great and designed beautifully. I wish the pools were bigger- the adult pool had 51 guests in it on a "sea day" which was ridiculous, and the other pools, with all the children- even more packed. Also, not nearly enough hand sanitizing stations!!!! Especially in the buffet and dining areas, and the elevators. These high touch areas had no hand sanitizers at all, you had to leave these areas in search of a station. This should be remedied!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The size was fantastic, bed comfortable, and balcony was very spacious. The shower was VERY small but if you're skinny like me, doable. Our room attendant Stephanie was very diligent in cleanliness and accommodated our requests for extra towels. Overall, we LOVED our room! We were concerned it would be noisy being so close to the elevators, but it was not, and we loved how close we were to everything. Made quick trips back to our room very convenient. Would book this room again!

Ship tip

Bring hand sanitizer and carry it with you ALWAYS!

A bit boring and the taxi ride to the town was inconvenient. We also got ripped off when buying a vape pen in the port shops directly by the ship. It was sold to us without a battery ($25-- he originally wanted $45!) which we discovered after leaving port. The shops should be held accountable if they're going to be in the port area and not take advantage of ship guests.

Disembarkation

It was fine. We're weren't in a hurry to disembark knowing it would be packed. It was! So we enjoyed some coffee in our room, and then " express disembarked " carrying our luggage. Overall, not bad, if you're not in a hurry.
