Review summary

It's a new port for this ship so I'm guessing alot to work on. 3 hours to board ship. Buffet was always running out if food. Full ship. Long waits for everything. My room was very nice and comfortable. That's when I stayed alot. Staff did work hard but rude and didn't seem to be happy working there. It was a nice inexpensive cruise but I will spend more money on a different company to get better service and food which is one of the reasons I cruise in the first place

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Over 3 hours wait outside to get in and I had a 1130 appointment

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Buffet was not good. Always running out. And they had no salad for the salad buffet area during the cruise so you had to have a toppings salad with dressing. I can't believe they even put toppings and dressing out.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Usual activities throughout the day

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Performers were below average. The Michael Jackson review was good

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Lots of kids and lots to do for them. Not for the single adult that wants a calm atmosphere

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Rude staff. No one went above and beyond for anything. The ship though was kept very clean as well as my room.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean and nice ship

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Handicap cabin. Very comfortable and clean. Bed very comfortable

Ship tip

You get what you pay for. Low cost vacation. Don't expect alot especially if you have been on celebrity or virgin cruises. It's a nice room and golden corral type food.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Lots of construction. Hopefully it will be nice when it's done

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Very beautiful area. Nice beaches.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Disorganized, staff rude

I'm beginning to wonder why the ship hasn't fallen apart. Thank you for your review.

Don't worry Paul, we just got off the Seaside and there is now plenty of lettuce! They must have listened to you because there was romaine lettuce on the pizza bar for caesar salads, iceberg lettuce on the hot bar for hamburger toppings, both romaine and spring mix on the salad bar, and they even put out lettuce in the cold bar at breakfast. Plenty of roughage to be had. :-)

I hope this ship gets it together by October
