Review summary

This is a good cheap cruise if you are a beginner to cruising. If you have cruised before and are looking for service and quality experience this cruise line lacks in this area. The staff is very overwhelmed in all areas and is lacking which makes long waits for ordering drinks, getting quality housekeeping and quality service in the restaurants is definitely lacking. This cruise line charges for everything!!!! Be aware!!! Also the basic drink package doesn't cover very much so its not the best deal if you are getting the over priced drink package. The prices they charge for the drink and dining packages do not match the quality you receive

Embarkation

it was okay...confusing at check in area

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet food was better than the dining room and the service in the dining room was not good. Staff is over worked and short staffed in all areas of the ship

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There are lots of activities on the ship

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The opera was the worst show I have ever seen. The bands were very low quality and not very energizing. The shows were okay but definitely better on other cruise lines.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The staff are very overworked and short staffed on the cruise line. They seem very unhappy and not friendly. We had several issues during our cruise and the reception staff and management didn't seem to care. I have been on 20 cruises and this was the worst for customer service

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship being newer was great however the cleanliness lacked in the rooms. We had dirty and stained sheets, shower clogged and overflowed into the room during our stay and the blow dryer caught on fire for a faulty cord. The maintenance on this new ship is lacking already and it shows

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
There is very little storage in this room if you are traveling with 2 or more people. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever had to sleep on. It was very uncomfortable. The foam pillows were washed so many times that they were odd shaped and very lumpy. The sheets were stained and dirty upon arrival. WE alerted the reception staff of theses issues and they didn't seem very apologetic.

Ship tip

This is a good cheap cruise but lacks in service

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

WE visited little Havana and Miami beach and it was so much fun

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Lots to see here and shop. The food is awesome

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
There are some expensive shops right when you get off the ship but then nothing else to do unless you get an excursion to drive into the city

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Lots of shopping but pushy locals

OCEAN CAY MSC MARINE RESERVE, BAHAMAS

4 out of 5
This island is beautiful and very clean however they charge for everything to do on this island other than the buffet and laying in the sun.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
somewhat disorganized
