I requested to separate beds as I was travelling with a male co-worker. To my surprise I had to share a bed with him. Our stateroom attendant kept our room clean. He was professional, friendly and payed attention to detail.

We had the same issue with the beds not being separated when we arrived so I had to call guest services 5 (five) times until someone showed up 8 (eight) hours later. As you can probably imagine, the tone I had to use gradually changed for the worse these 5 times :) After that it was smooth sailing, and we loved the room and the ship.

Your beds could have been separated if you asked your room steward. They are two single beds pushed together and covered with a queen sheet. I realize this is too late, but now you know for the future.
