While the Seaside is a large ship we hardly even felt crowded.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Since I use a cane as soon as we got to the area we were directed to the handicap area and within 10 minutes we were checked in and on our way to embark
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The first week in the dining room it seemed the waiter was rushing, but the food was good, it could have been hotter but was okay. We ate in the Butcher's Cut specialty restaurant and while our meal was comped the selection for this was very good and the food was excellent. We ate in the buffet for all but one breakfast and all but one lunch. Everyday the choices are very good. We did not get a drink package but the prices of most drinks is reasonable.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Husband went down one of the water slides and while he said it was good he also said the bigger slide is better. Went to the thermal spa one day and the Jacuzzi was hotter and had more jets at one by the pool.
Entertainment
We have seen the shows on a prior cruise and enjoyed them all.
Children's Programs
no children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service from all waiters, room stewards an other was very good.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is designed very nice. There is one floor where you can not walk front to back so have to remember before going there.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
this cabin is a handicap cabin so while inside it is much larger than mot insides and of course the bathroom is wheelchair accessible. Just wish there was more storage.
Ship tip
Make sure you get a map of the ship when you check in, makes a big difference.
We have been many times and after finding the Mega Store that is what we do, go there. They have a good exchange rate and you can get liquor, flavors for water (.25 - .30 cents for a package that makes 2 liters) and many other things.
Right now I will give a 3 as they still have a lot to do to make it very nice. The beaches there are nice but very little shade, so those like us that don't want full sun.
