Review summary

While the Seaside is a large ship we hardly even felt crowded.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Since I use a cane as soon as we got to the area we were directed to the handicap area and within 10 minutes we were checked in and on our way to embark

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The first week in the dining room it seemed the waiter was rushing, but the food was good, it could have been hotter but was okay. We ate in the Butcher's Cut specialty restaurant and while our meal was comped the selection for this was very good and the food was excellent. We ate in the buffet for all but one breakfast and all but one lunch. Everyday the choices are very good. We did not get a drink package but the prices of most drinks is reasonable.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Husband went down one of the water slides and while he said it was good he also said the bigger slide is better. Went to the thermal spa one day and the Jacuzzi was hotter and had more jets at one by the pool.

Entertainment

We have seen the shows on a prior cruise and enjoyed them all.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service from all waiters, room stewards an other was very good.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is designed very nice. There is one floor where you can not walk front to back so have to remember before going there.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
this cabin is a handicap cabin so while inside it is much larger than mot insides and of course the bathroom is wheelchair accessible. Just wish there was more storage.

Ship tip

Make sure you get a map of the ship when you check in, makes a big difference.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

We live 2 hours North and have visited Miami other times so for a cruise it is just embarkation/disembarkation.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

2 out of 5
We have been a few time before and have done the main things, The beaches have not impressed us. So we just got off and found Jamaican coffee beans.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

The seas were too rough for the tenders so did not stop.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We have been many times and after finding the Mega Store that is what we do, go there. They have a good exchange rate and you can get liquor, flavors for water (.25 - .30 cents for a package that makes 2 liters) and many other things.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Right now I will give a 3 as they still have a lot to do to make it very nice. The beaches there are nice but very little shade, so those like us that don't want full sun.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
San Juan is a very nice port but with the time that you get there, 5 pm there are not that many things that you can do.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Very nice port but since we have been there a few times we just walked around Havensight and got back on the ship

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
We did not get off the ship as to us it a dirty and the people are too pushy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I had been made a Diamond so we got 7:30 disembarkation and actually were out at the street waiting for our shuttle by 7:30
