Review summary

This was a great trip and the ship is gorgeous. The theme parties at night are a BLAST and really made our trip memorable. The service was ok, but not over the top like other cruises we have been on. The entertainment could have been better and more daytime games/activities around the pool on Day At Sea.

Very quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food was "ok" - nothing fancy or special. Very small portions and you seem rushed for them to get to the next seating time. Buffet food was just as good as dining hall, but has pretty much the same foods every day so it gets redundant.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pool was nice but wish the entertainment stage and dance area was by the pool so when there are activities during the day you could see them from the pool.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
DJ and stage shows were ok...nothing extravagant or special. Wish there was more activities during the day along the poolside to keep everyone entertained. And more variety with the DJ music.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Didnt feel all the staff were super friendly...some didnt even talk or acknowledge you unless you talked to them first. Our room steward was "ok" but sometimes didnt leave us new towels unless we asked. They have a button on the wall you have to push to get room cleaned...i am used to this being something standard they all do without prompting.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is beautiful and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Room was nice - average size and balcony was nice size.

Ship tip

Dont expect same over the top service as Carnival or Royal Carribean. Food portions at dinner are smaller than other cruises.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Nice but we ported at 5pm so didnt get to experience as much of the island as I would have liked. Several protests going on around the island that limited the areas we could go visit. Being it was evening time, there were a lot of shops closed by 8pm.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

BEAUTIFUL beaches and people willing to drive you around the island. Our favorite place on this trip!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Nassau, Bahamas

Very pushy to buy things...hard to walk around and see anything without being hounded to come into their shop and buy. Not much to see around port...need to do an excursion or tour to get away from the port shops.

Fastest we have ever had on a cruise!
