Review summary

We have been on more than 30 cruises (many suites) so thought we would try MSC for something different. We loved the Seaside and will return. We purchased a suite but it was not (14002). We also were not told it had an obstructed view. We contacted and they were no help in getting us moved. MSC Hotel Director saved our vacation by moving us and made us true fans of MSC.

One of the cleanest ships we have ever been on. We loved the layout of the ship. Large open atrium and two buffet areas made the ship feel light and open and not crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

Terrible cabin. Not a suite, just a large room. More like a handicap room. Beware- the balcony was 3/4 obstructed view. Two people could not look over the railing at the same time. Ship hull is in the balcony which we hit our heads on several times. Thankfully MSC saved our vacation and moved us to a room with a real balcony. If you want a big room with no view or balcony, this is for you. Will not trust with room description again.
