Review summary

Definitely not my favorite cruise. We enjoyed the various stops and the ship was beautiful, but will probably not cruise with MSC again anytime soon.

Embarkation

My mom needed a wheelchair. We had to sit and wait for someone to come get her. There were a lot of people who needed wheelchairs and only two guys pushing them. Eventually gave up and pushed her onto the ship myself.

Food and Dining

Food was not great. Generally had no flavor. Dining room was better than buffet. Buffet was not a good option for gluten free/vegan eaters. Dining room timing was terrible. It took over two hours to eat there and my mom's food (gluten free) never came out at the same time as the rest of the table. One time she had completely finished her meal before the rest of us had even finished our apps, even though we all ordered at the same time.

Shows were pretty good for the most post. Michael Jackson show was great! A couple of the shows were terrible.

Service and Staff

Staff was nice, but not knowledgeable. I asked questions and would be given the wrong information or sent to the wrong place. Our room steward, Nadia was great!
