Review summary

The MSC Seaside is a beautiful ship, but the worse food and service of the many many cruise ship companies we have been on. With these two important factors being so poor, we will not sale an MSC ship again ...unless it is the DIvina which was excellent in every way. It's hard to believe the food could be so poor....like cafeteria food, and the staff so uncaring.

We had a wonderful time on Seaside. I'm a foodie and I thought the buffet food was better than main dining room on formal nights. We ate at all specialty restaurants and they were fantastic and you get so much food for the price. Get the trio deal, 3 restaurants for $69 before you Board. So worth it. Another MUST have is room service pizza. On the buffet it's good but delivered to the room, hot and in a pizza box is amazing! And I'm Italian so I know good pizza!

Heard many MSC reviewers either love or hate. Not much in the middle. I understand the food portion. Was the service mostly food related? Cabin? Everywhere? Thanks. Still toying with a Divina cruise.

I thought the food on the divina was poor quality also. Never been in seaside but I’m hoping the buffet will be decent. Have you tried any of the specialty restaurants?
