Awful cruise ship by Gdelbene

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

It was our first time cruising on this cruise line and we’re greatly disappointed. The food was awful. The Buffett was awful even the desserts. It was very apparent that the staff were not trained in the service industry. We booked a cruise with 2 packages for Black Friday and they didn’t honor the packages and they basically said too bad and tried to sell us another package. Watch what you buy and confirm before you board the ship!

If MSC continues to keep cutting quality as fast as they entered the US market they will be out just as fast by mjlavigna

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore

The ship was beautiful, the entertainment was excellent, the bars were short staff and ran out of vodka, and can soda. The food and deserts were terrible. I own several restaurants and if my chefs every put out food like MSC they would be fired.

Very Good Cruise by smemerson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

The MSC Seashore is very clean inside and out, we love how everyone of them made us feel like we’re home. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that I could recommend is that, they could probably add more selections to the buffet and revolving sushi. Other than that our experience was amazing.

MSC Not For US by copper103

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

MSC is just different than the other cruise lines. If you're use to the other cruise lines you'll be disappointed in the service you'll receive and other areas that make cruising special. MSC has a great price as we paid less for a suite on their ship than what we would usually pay for a regular balcony cabin on the others but after sailing MSC we feel it's worth paying the extra for what you receive on the other main cruise lines. We won't be sailing on MSC again.

Thanksgiving Cruise by missys03

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore

This was my second MSC cruise and we brought our entire family on this trip for a Thanksgiving cruise. It started out very rocky with boarding taking about 4 hrs because of some issue. I try and find the best in everything and any cruise is better than no cruise; however, it seemed like around every turn there was some sort of speed bump. We would order things and get something totally different, the ship ran out of things early in the cruise, service was super slow everywhere and a major lack of communication from staff. Our motto became “expect the unexpected”. We still had fun and laughed about all the weird service things that kept happening. It was a completely full ship and kids club told us there were 1100 kids onboard. It felt like the crew was ill prepared. I feel as though MSC has such good potential as their ships are beautiful, entertainment is good, and drink package is fantastic compared to other cruise lines. It just seems as though management and service are lacking. Also, MSC definitely needs to add more complimentary food venues because only having main dining and a buffet with 5600 people on a ship does not work. Will I sail MSC again? Possibly, if it is a really good deal and not a holiday.

Average plus by Allicat46

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore

Over all cruise was good! I enjoyed myself with my family. I will travel with MSC maybe a year from now, allow them to work out the kinks. The price was reasonable so I won’t say I would never travel with them again. Maybe a shorter trip.

Yacht Club Experience by DPSOFTBALL

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Would think twice of telling people to spend money for this YC. Have enjoyed past YC experience. If you are a spa person, don't bother wasting money until they fix issues.

Cheap Transatlantic by tomterrific6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Seashore

This was a much-anticipated cruise. A lot of new experiences with first trip to Europe, first Transatlantic voyage, new ship and all but two of the ports were new visits for me. I enjoyed all of the ports with Tenerife being my favorite. Having sailed MSC twice before I thought I knew what to expect. The ship and cabin did meet my expectations. The food variety and quality were well below par compared to my previous MSC cruises as was the entertainment. I was definitely not a big fan of the cruise director. Turns out it was his first voyage as CD. I'd suggest it also be his last. There were a couple of technical glitches that I personally had to work through. My Gold status was somehow forgotten, once I finally realized, it was fairly easy to fix but I had already missed some of the fun perks such as the welcome back party. Two of my prepaid excursions somehow were not properly linked to me and I spent probably an hour in multiple visits to the excursions desk to iron out the wrinkles. All in all, glad I took the trip, unfortunately some of the negatives have lowered my opinion of MSC overall.

Great Ship by 2dudes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

We had an amazing trip on MSC Seashore for a Med cruise out of Rome. Our schedule was packed with only 1 sea day and 6 ports but we made great use of the yacht club and enjoyed many drinks and meals from their amazing team. Can’t wait to sail her again this December

May Med Cruise by ants1980

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

Family cruise, 4 adults and 3 kids. We all enjoyed it. Had great service at dinner and we made the most of the ports. We did our own trips and saved so much money compared to going with MSC on their tours or using their shuttle buses

Great Cruise! by GretchenDH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

Beautiful ship! Great itinerary! Thoroughly enjoyed sharing a vacation with people from all over the world! Loved all the languages! - Yes! The elevator situation is strange. Use the stairs as much as you can. Save the crowded elevators for those who need them, as much as possible. Nothing wrong with taking more streps and using the stairs!

Caribbean getaway for two by TheGoodRoger

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Seashore

This was a nice back to back on MSC Seashore. Let's be honest, we don't go to the Caribbean for culture or sightseeing; we go for the beaches and the beautiful waters. We also enjoy relaxing on sea days. This itinerary was great. And so was the weather. This was just the 2 of us on this trip, but we still made some new friends. Charlotte Amalie was the disappointment on this trip. Even with a longer day, we would have had to do a taxi to get somewhere nice. This ship and amenities are great, the cabin wonderful, the food and the crew is excellent. The one sore point was the awkward off-then-on that you must do at Miami on the turnaround day of the b2b. I recommend MSC for Caribbean. We've sailed them a few times on different itineraries there.

Yacht Club Does It Again by Ryan258

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Seashore

Cruise itinerary changed due to hurricane but my wife and I found our home with MSC. The timeless sophistication of an MSC cruise is beyond reproach, and it is because of the outstanding service and hospitality we receive in the yacht club.
